What if you could go back in time without changing the outcome? Would you?
Good morning Kittens & Dawgs! I want to present to you a Level 33 film written and directed by Minhal Baig; produced by Kerry Barden, Hans S. Canosa, & Marius A. Markevicius.
A romantic drama starring Anna Camp, Justin Chatwin, Isabelle Fuhrman, Kyle Allen, Kelli Berglund, Roshon Fegan, and Evan Hofer. Written and Directed by Minhal Baig and produced by Kerry Barden, Hans S. Canosa, & Marius A. Markevicius.
Anna Camp plays thirty-something Elizabeth who must decide whether her disappointed marriage is salvageable with Drew (Justin Chatwin) while a worried teen, Bea (Isabelle Fuhrman), reconnects with Andy (Kyle Allen), a shy childhood friend, who try to move past their high school social status after the prom. This is a story of past and present colliding as two couples explore love in one night at a hotel.
I’m not usually one for romantic dramas and quite honestly the trailer didn’t inspire a lot of confidence to see this film. Perhaps it just me, maybe it was the mood I was in or whatever but I had the chance to see the flick early in exchange for my opinion and to host a giveaway on Curious as a Cathy.
The movie begins slow and stays so consistently throughout the flick. If you’re the impatient, waiting for something big to happen person like me then you’ll be disappointed. I decided to ride the waves of melancholy presented in the script that the actors executed well. While the story unfolded I found I wanted to see a good outcome for the young married couple in trouble and I had hopes that the teens took the advice given by two strangers oddly interested in them. I actually enjoyed the movie. If you like slow-paced dramas then this is definitely up your alley and if not but you kinda wanna see it coz it sounds sorta good then here’s a chance to win a free copy of the movie!
I will participate in this blog hop today & you’re invited to follow along! 😉
What a coincidence this viewing of this movie sorta is a purrfect fit for today’s Coffee Chat prompt hosted by Les from Ink Interrupted who asks: Who do you trust most?
It won’t come as a surprise to any of you if you read last week’s Coffee Chat response with my answer to today’s question but excluding God, I trust DH above all others. He’s my protector – physically and emotionally and I composed a little poem just my sweetie!
I borrowed the background from a free Internet resource. The original file name credits the author as JSF but I cannot find it online now. 🙁
Trust in a relationship goes beyond one’s faithfulness. It’s also a measure of love and sacrifice. How far will DH go for me? This is something I never asked of or from him but it’s a role he stepped into willingly because he loves me so deeply. I am honored by this pledge of adoration.
That’s a wrap for this morning. I’m hopping over to Stacy’s for Random Tuesday Thoughts and you’re welcome to join me if you want. I hope you’ll hop & link up tomorrow for Wordless Wednesday before you leave you might want to listen to this morning featured artist on Tuesday Tunesation!
I hope you’ll join me at midnight and link up with my mid-week meme not-so Wordless Wednesday.
Have a terrific Tuesday!

This looks lik the kind of movie that would interest me. I love Anna Camp from the pitch perfect movies! she is the best! The person I trust most in my life is my husband. He is always there for me no matter what!
Good luck, Heather. I first met Anna Camp in The True Blood series. That’s wonderful to hear you trust your husband the most in life, too. It’s wonderful when you have that kind of relationship. 🙂
The movie seems quite sweet – I don’ t mind a slow burn type of film as long as it pays off in some way at the end. It’s nice when a movie feels more like a books sometimes. I love how you described your relationship with DH and especially mentioning that he willingly stepped into the role. Because that’s just so significant I think — someone who just DOES. 🙂
Beautiful poem, DH sounds like a keeper.
Ellen, I think he’s a keeper and I’m going to keep him! 😉
It sounds like a movie I would like. As long as it is a good story with interesting characters, it doesn’t have too fast-paced.
The movie sounds better than a typical romance which usually bore me(The Notebook). I don’t mind if it is slow paced as long as it has a point unlike some other films( In The Bedroom). I think we always go back in time and can’t change anything which is when we recall certain things and think about memories. As for your man…..this is very sweet and a very beautiful poem. He probably thinks the same thing:)
Yup, hubby is definitely the person I trust most, well, beside myself, of course 🙂 Have a wonderful Tuesday, Cathy.
Thank you, Claudia! I hope you have a terrific week!
Hi, Cathy, and happy Tuesday to you!
I like actress Anna Camp. Mrs. Shady and I watched The Mindy Project and I remember Anna playing Gwen on that series, We also just finished watching all seasons and all episodes of The Good Wife and I was impressed with Anna’s acting as Caitlin, an up-and-coming lawyer on that show. She was also great in the movie The Help. Those performances alone would be enough to prompt me to give 1 Night a try. However I agree with you that the trailer does little to get the potential viewer interested in the movie and, from all appearances, it is a standard, run of the mill romantic dramedy. Mrs. Shady can’t sit still for a story that drags. I don’t mind slow paced movies as long as the characters are well drawn and it leads to a payoff at the end that rewards you for your patience and the time invested.
The poem you wrote for your sweetie, DH, is lovely and very toughing. You are lucky to have found each other.
Enjoy the rest of your week, dear friend Cathy!
Tom,
I first became acquainted with Anna Camp from the “True Blood” series. I haven’t seen her in much since then so I’m glad you shared some of her filmology. The movie is a bit predictable but for those like you and Mrs. Shady or DH and me then a flick like this might be a bit disappointing if we paid to see it, you know what I mean? I gave the film a fair chance. I really did.
Yes, I am very lucky to have DH. I count my blessings every single day. I could not have picked out a guy half as good as DH but God gave me exactly what I needed. DH is truly heaven-sent! Have a joyful day, my friend!
My wife usually doesn’t like slow pace any kind of movies so I’m sure this would not interest her and it doesn’t look all that up my alley either. I’d love to go back in time for a visit. but I think that if we could go back it would be impossible to change anything. It would make very little sense to be able to do so.

Lee, then this movie probably won’t be a good selection for you or your wife. I think the temptation is too great to not try to change things a little or a lot if we could go back in time. Who knows maybe we’d still experience the same outcome in our future lives but at the risk of things not falling into place then I’d have to refrain from trying to set things right in the past. I wouldn’t want my future to be altered because I have wonderful husband and kids. What more can I can ask for? Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
