It’s Memorial Day! To honor all the brave men & women who fought for our freedom.

Years ago, we liked going to a local restaurant which unfortunately has closed its doors for the food and live entertainment. The sax player Jason Thompson is excellent. This video doesn’t do him justice, but it’s the best I can find.

This is truly a stumbled upon first for me. I was actually looking for other music-related blog hops when I came across this new artist.

I’m not really a Milla Jovovich fan. In fact, I didn’t even know she was a singer. But, I thought this song had an interesting beat to it.

Do you have that good ole fashion dance fever? Then, continue the party with these blog hops!

Next stop, your place! The Love Train will be pulling into your depot and I’m eager to begin by following you!

Remember those who died for our freedom. Hug or shake the hand of a veteran. And, thank the good Lord you live in a Uniquely Amazing Superb land known as the USA!

  1. All new to me except Bread! Enjoyed all of them, wow, that Sax player, really enjoyed him 🙂

  2. Oh wow, I had no idea Milla Jovoich was a singer! Honestly, I’m not the biggest fan of her either and, even though the song does have an interesting beat, not the biggest fan of it either.

But I must say, I LOVE all the other songs you’ve chosen! You and I have a lot of the same tastes in music 🙂

I’m especially a big fan of that sax player-He’s quite talented!

    Have a musical week ^.^

  3. Those are some really great choices… very different and unique.
I’m not really a Milla Jovoich fan either, but that song is pretty cool, thanks for sharing.
Hope you had a great weekend.

  4. Great Job Cathy. I love Kris Allen too. I voted too their Stacy girl. Great saxophone player. I love the sax & so did my dad. His favorite sax song was Harlem Nocturn *not sure of the spelling, but great song. Have a fun day girlfriend. Only four more weeks to start playing. Maybe I’ll cut that to if they at least start playing along two weeks before they can enter because of Memorial Day. Whatcha think?
