Good-afternoon, kittens & dawgs! I. Am. So. Behind! That’s what happens when you spend the day in the mountains on Monday followed by too many things to do on your list. I’m floundering around trying to play catch up, which is making me terribly dizzy in the process.

Composure, Cathy, you gotta have composure. Breathe. Good. Now, let’s get down to business. This last battle started off heavily in favor of The Hoax, but Macy Gray managed to gain momentum, but she didn’t snag enough votes to take the lead. The final count was…

For the most part, everyone (including myself) preferred The Hoax funkiness who kept their cover closer to Stevie Wonders vibe over that of Gray’s slower, moodier version. It was interesting to see how the margin narrowed between the two contenders and in the end I was happy it wasn’t horribly lopsided one way.
