I’ve seen that “stuff” many times on trees, I think for the most part in Maryland. It can get very big and spread out.
Janie, I’ve seen this sorta stuff all my life, but not this dense. It was really cool to stumble upon it and it was conveniently located right beside the road. All we had to do is find a spot to pull off so I could snag my shot. Thanks for stopping by!

Ha – I never thought about that Minion cartoon comic. why do we make photos square? I am sure there must be a scientific answer to this.
