I hope you checked out my earlier Songsational Sundays for a bit spiritual inspiration today. I’m taking part in a Q&A meme that allows you to get to know me better and hopefully a chance for me to get more acquainted with you. Here are my responses to Bev Sykes’ Sunday Stealing questions.
1. Can you cry under water? I don’t know, I never tried. I’m not much of a water except for taking a shower.
2. What is the fattest thing you’ve ever done? The fattest thing? I’m not sure I understand the question.
3. If you’re going to be arrested what do you want your crime to be? Killing someone with kindness. Well, not literally killing them but who knows, though.
4. When they say dog food is “new and improved” who tastes it? I have to admit as a kid I tried dried dog food after hearing a story how old folks on a fixed income couldn’t afford anything else. Let’s just say I hope it is “new and improved” because I might be one of those old people someday.
5. What’s the ugliest thing you’ve ever seen? Aside from a person or animal’s appearance I’d have to say the attitude of others. The hate and destruction that’s currently going on is ugly and mean.
6. Why doesn’t glue stick to its bottle? That’s a good question. I’d imagine it has something to do with being in a sealed bottled for at least a time. I know after clue gets old it will harden inside somewhat.
7. What historical event do you wish you’d witnessed? Jesus’ ascension
8. Who has had the best influence on your life? My parents.
9. Would you rather go into space or to Antarctica? Neither. I’m a big scaredy Cathy.
10. Would you rather sleep with no pillow or no blankets? No pillow.
11. What’s your favorite rain memory? I think it has to be when I was a child. I loved listening to the rain fall against my grandparent’s tin roof. The sound lulled me to sleep.
12. If you were elected president, what is the first thing you would do? I’m sure whatever I wanted to do would be stopped by the opposition. Being president is a hard job. You couldn’t pay me enough to do it.
13. If you had $3 to spend in the dollar store, what would you buy? Hard to find items that I can’t find at Walmart or grocery stores. One thing that comes to mind is Palmer’s Chocolates. I like getting this brand because of sentimental reasons plus it’s (or was) good inexpensive chocolates that are made (I hope still are) in America.
14. What’s the most annoying sound in the world? The voices of socialists spouting their anti-America ideology and constant tearing down this country.
15. What natural disaster scares you the most? Flash floods. When I was a teenager in southern WV the spring of 1977 much of the area was hit by flooding. That was really scary. Sometimes when we have heavy rain those old fears creep up on me.
Thanks for taking time out of your day to become more acquainted with the gal behind Curious as a Cathy. Don’t forget I’ll be back tomorrow to boogie with you with themed (see right menu) based song picks on Monday’s Mewsic Moves Me dance floor. I’m going to leave you with a Sunday Stealing song inspired by today’s Q&A theme, “All Mixed Up” by The Cars.

Interesting prompts! Could not agree with you more on #14.
Yeah the Cars! Hey some of the answers of those questions would get me into trouble so I will stay with the $ store questions. Candy of course. LOL Have a great day.
I assumed the “fattest thing” was something fattening you’d eaten a lot of.
rain on the roof is one of my favorite sounds. Now that we have a 2-story house and I sleep downstairs, I don’t get to hear it any more.
Thanks for answering the questions!
Love your answer to #14…
Your answer to #7 is perfect. As for the fattest thing ever, i don’t get that question, either.
Those were good answers and some of those questions were tough, others silly. I liked your answer to 14.
love your answers particularlily #7 I think it would have been awesome to witness the whole 3 day event from the cruicifacation to the ascension thank you for stopping by
As far as I am aware, all Palmer chocolate candy is still made in Pennsylvania (unlike Hershey’s, hiss boo) they are headquartered near Reading, a city that used to be famous for their outlet malls back when outlet malls weren’t that common. Haven’t been to Reading in perhaps 20 years – it sure brought back memories, though.
