The 80s spawn many wonderful TV shows. It was an era for watching some good TV, not quite as wholesome as the 60s and 70s viewing, but the programs were still decently family oriented. The music which accompanied the shows were fabulous! This week’s theme is TV theme music.
My first pick is probably my absolute favorite TV Theme music. Who can forget Tom Selleck’s devilishly handsome smile and fun sense of humor as Magnum PI.
When you think of Henry Mancini, what comes to mind? He’s undeniably one of the best TV and movie song composers EVER. I always liked the children’s cartoon and later the big screen productions with Peter Sellers.
The Pink Panther always put a smile on my face, how about you?
Before Bruce Willis hit it big at the box office with his Die Hard legacy, I first got to know him as David Addison in the sitcom, Moonlighting, sung by Al Jarreau.
I loved the zany sense of humor the writers pulled off the typewriter with his character.
Eye candy for the ladies with his 5 o’clock shadow, t-shirt, jeans, and white jacket, Don Johnson swooned our hearts with his good looks and smokin’, hot sound of Miami Vice
The opening theme really pumps the adrenline even before the action began.
Since the 80s there really hasn’t been too much on the airway which has won my attention over on a regular basis until 24!
Gosh, this was an excellent show! I hate like crazy they ended it all in 2009, but we have all eight seasons on DVD. Whoo-hoo! Jack Bauer rocks!
