Friday Fun with Fill-Ins

Hilary at Feeling Beachie has a fun weekly meme where she throws out four blank statements for us to grab & fill in. Now, I’m gonna be honest here. It’s been quite awhile since I had the privilege to participate in this little ole blog hop, but opportunity presents itself this week for me to play along and this is precisely what I’m gonna do.

This is what Hilary posted:

  1. I wish I had all the money in the world to do whatever or help whoever I want to my heart’s desire.
  2. I stopped wearing panty hoses eons ago and that’s one of the best fashion decisions in my life!
  3. My favorite song right now is perhaps, “Call Me Maybe” (and that’s really a big maybe) because it’s simply so upbeat and makes me wanna dance.
  4. I always sing while listening to the radio or stereo, especially when a song comes on I love! It drives my DS nuts, too!




Next up is another fill-in meme put together by Janet from Friday Fill-Ins. Again, it’s been even a longer time since I linked up last with this blog hop. I thought this would be a great time to play both today seeing how this is my free Friday.

  4. Did you know someone stole all four tires and wheels right off my DD’s car? It’s true! What amazes me it had to have happened sometime today because he husband left for work earlier on, as she works evenings. People are not only getting meaner, but bolder!
  5. I looked more closely and I saw what appeared to be a turtle or even a coiled up snake in our driveway was really only a large dried, brown leaf. Boy, was I ever relieved it wasn’t a snake!
    6. I’m so glad today is Friday, really. I mean this week has been rather hectic and I’m feeling like I’m bouncing off the walls about now.
  6. And, as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to doing the usual chillaxing in front of the TV watching a movie, tomorrow my plans include helping DH set up some computer speakers and Sunday, I want to do our weekly grocery shopping. Well to say I want to do it is a stretch. I have to do it!!

    It always strikes me as weird if someone mentions going shopping on Sunday. No way in Germany — stores are closed that day. I think I like it though — one day without any pressure! 🙂

    YEP NO PANTY HOSE HERE EITHER YUK!! LOVE FALL WEATHER, COLORS AND YUMMY CROCKPOT FOODS!!!

  5. I don’t even think I own any panty hose??? that seems dreadfully unladylike. hhhmmm.

    This house goes nuts when Call Me Maybe comes on. You have got to look up Cookie Monster’s parody, Share it Maybe on YouTube. hilarious. There’s also a cool version with Jimmy Fallon.

  6. I picked heels for #2, but I could easily have picked pantyhose. I haven’t worn them in a long time either.

  8. Cathy: great fill-ins for FF. #5&7: Optical illusions are fun! I’m not a fan of shopping either. We went last night… I was glad to be done! Happy Weekend! I won’t even get into the four fill in sentences you posted first! I’m not “that” transparent, yet. LOL

  9. Pantyhose … ugh! I live in the south too and will only wear during the coldest of our days, which thankfully are few and far between. Pantyhose + heat + my thighs = ugly ouchies

  10. My kids LOVE “Call Me Maybe!” If you have kids you should check out Cookie Monster’s version! The only reason I am looking forward to Fall is that I am getting a little bit tired of my Summer wardrobe. Kinda looking forward to tweed pants and sweaters again. Have a great weekend.
