I’m trying to get back to some of my blogging basics in which I did a lot of Q&A prompts. Years ago, I did a segment each Thursday with another blogger called Thursday Two Questions. It was a great way to initiate conversation while learning new things about one another. The object is to either use questions posed here or to create your own (if you choose to come up with your own then please respond to mine in comments for others to get to know you better).
Ever since our refrigerator decided to pull a fast one us with its inability to work properly, I needed to find a way to keep milk on hand for DH’s weekend oatmeal. You can freeze milk but then comes the hassle of thawing it out for cooking. I got the crazy idea to use up the entire gallon of milk at one shot making several small batches of oatmeal storing a weekend portion in my favorite food container by Rubbermaid storage containers.
- Do you like preparing food ahead for easy meals? Obviously, you know that I do. I not only do things like this for DH’s breakfast but I tend to cook like we’re still a family of five in order to put the remaining in Rubbermaid storage containers to pull out of the freezer anytime.
- What is your favorite storage hack? My favorite storage hack is nesting. I like to stack food containers inside each other and these Rubbermaid storage containers nest nicely together plus I like how the lids will snap together when stacked.

I hope you enjoyed my little Q&A session. Eventually, I hope to include other Thursday hop connections. If you visit my Daily Blog Hop page you’ll find a few listed. Some of which I participated in last year but my timing was off and I couldn’t latch on to them properly. I hope to change that this year. Wish me luck! I invite you to stroll back over tomorrow for some giggles and a whole lot more of Friday Fun Stuff!

When i used to cook huge meals, i never had leftovers to freeze, or seldom anyway. It would have been nice.
I do like to meal prep because it helps me stay on track with my healthy eating. My daughter also preps her meals for lunch for the week and it makes it easy for her to grab and go. I love stacking containers as well and we have a whole cabinet full!
