Hello Kittens & Dawgs! This is gonna be a short but sweet post.  In the Falling Slowly #BoTB showdown between Toni Gonzaga and Josh Groban; it soon became clear the direction of this battle. The majority of the voters, including myself preferred the heart-felt, feminine vocals taking the win by an 8 to 4 victory. Listen once again to the beautifully talented Toni Gonazaga!

  1. The real winner here was… Me!

Seriously, when I make a choice for a contest, it is like a kiss of death. I always pick the wrong one. Not today, though.

Today, I want to thank all the small people out there…

    1. Myke,

LOL, remember I said there is no wrong vote except a no vote! I often pick the loser in other battles and sometimes in mine. I’m just happy that you contributed to the fun!

  2. Prior to this post the last song I recall hearing was “Days of Elijah”–I listened to several different versions last night because the song just popped into my head and I wanted to listen to it for a while.

    Nice battle.

    1. Lee,

I have not heard “Days of Elijah”. Do you have an artist you like best? I listened to a few covers. It’s a pretty gospel hymn. I love worship mewsic! Thanks for stopping in, I hope this means you feeling a bit better today. 🙂

  3. Beautiful. Just beautiful.

I love the story of your life thus far. I remember the empty nest feeling. I was good with it after a couple of weeks though.

Have a fabulous day, Cathy. ♥

  4. I had a feeling she would win. She has a nice voice for sure and I am glad I had the ability to vote this time😀
