Darling Daughters and Daddys

I’m here, I’m here Miss Jenny!  Yes, I’m late – as usual. But…but…my alarm clock…pleeease, don’t wag your finger at me, Miss Jenny. Okay, I know it’s an excuse…yes, a bad excuse.  Oh, NO! Not the corner, again? WAIT, I do have a VERY good reason why I’m late, though. Just hear me out, ok?

You see, I was extremely busy on a new assignment from another class. No, no –  your class is just as important, Miss Jenny!

I really could use some help on this one, though.  This is my very attempt at such a lesson. Miss Liz said, I need others to participate in my assignment to make it work. I have to admit, it was a lot of fun to do and I would love to share the same fun with my classmates today, if you don’t mind.

Here, take a look at  My Memories Digital Scrapbook Software Review & Give-Away Promo and let me know what you think.

What, you’re not a mad at me, Miss Jenny? Thanks!!! Here’s my assignment for the letter…

The danting tasks from last week’s Thanksgiving preparation has now spilled into a brand new month, December. What a delight it is to see Christmas decorations slowly coming into play around our home! Better still is the sweet sight of darling daughter’s dimple cheeks smiling up at her daddy.

This brings to mind one of my favorites…

DADDY’S LITTLE GIRL Al Martino

While daddys hold a special spot for their darling daughters, likewise is equally true. Darling daughters hold a special place in their hearts for their daddys. Our very own darling daughter #2 wrote this poem for her dear daddy.

“To My Father”
By: Nicole Elise Kennedy
Father’s Day 2007

Looking at the paleness the world shades, the one thing that holds strong is the light you shine for me.

Always there to take my hand, you lead me down the path of daylight to keep me from the darkness that claims so many.

You wrap protective wings around my shoulders, and I know you will always be there to guard me from those who pose harm.

You are my hero and my father. I cannot explain, no words would do, the love and gratitude I feel so deeply for you.

Thank-you!

I would really love it, if you would dowdle around my blog all day long, but Miss Jenny may send you to the corner. To read more ‘D’ posts or better still submit your own ‘D’ assignment, then click below to link up.
