It is day 3 of the A to Z Challenge with the letter ‘C’. I made a minor slip up with today’s sketch pick. My intent is to keep my selections confined the first year I started drawing again in 2017. It wasn’t until after I completed my Procreate recreation of Clearing the Field did I realize my mistake and so I just went with the flow. I guess it was just meant for me to bring this illustration to life.
I will try to keep my posts short this year. I will leave you with a playlist that’ll help to clear negative energy from your mind today while you visit others or work on tomorrow’s post. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of your day. I’m heading over to the A2Z headquarters to leave my calling card and maybe I’ll take notice to see who else came to the party. This is CAAC signing off, I’ll be back tomorrow with the next letter in the alphabet!

Your sketch is lovely, so full of life and color! 😀 https://steampunkcowunicorn.wordpress.com/2022/04/04/c-is-for-carousel/
Excellent sketch, Cathy, and reminds me of simpler times. Keep on keepin’ on.
Whatever the year, it’s a lovely sketch.
That is a very pretty sketch!
Nice image of a simpler time. Not that I had any experiences like what is pictured, but it looks nice.

I love your sketch. We did that kind of thing when I was a kid. We lived on a dairy farm and there was always work to do. You’re so very talented and right from the start.
Have a fabulous day and week, Cathy. Love and hugs. ♥
This is good one.
Ohh this is an amazing sketch. Well done my friend.
Hi, Cathy!
Happy Monday and A to Z Day 3, dear friend! I hope you and DH had a nice weekend.
I vaguely remember this sketch from a few years ago, and admire it all the more now that you bought it back In Living Color. My interpretation of the scene is a farm family harvesting wheat. The woman in the foreground looks fit and trim, evidence that she is no stranger to hard work and routinely helps with the crops and other farm chores. The men are shown busily toiling with her, and the horse is convincingly drawn, appearing to be exerting force on the harness as he pulls the weight of the wagon to the spot where the woman is raking. It’s delightful, Cathy!
I also appreciated the soothing mewsic to clear away the negativity and generate positive energy.
Have a wonderful Monday, dear friend Cathy, and I’ll see you back here tamale for Day 4!
