Merry Christmas, Kittens & Dawgs! This week zipped by like a flash.  I was so busy doing this and that, that I didn’t have time to get bored or wish for Friday or anything but here it is Friday again.  TGIF!  Let’s get this holiday weekend off right with a few Christmas giggles.

SWF

The night I photographed The Island in Pigeon Forge, we stopped at The Christmas Village.  This is the Christmas Inn across the road.  Once again my exposure was too dark.  The picture was ordinary but I saw potential.  After putting it through Pixelmator – brightening the exposure,  cropping, and adding some stars in the blank sky I am satisfied.  I know, I know I’m cheating on my sky view shot but I hope you enjoy my SWF photo contribution.

I’m taking a bit of a blog break until the first of January and am not1FFBadge participating in Friendly Fill-Ins today, but you’re welcome to join Annie and Ellen.   Here’s how it works – every Thursday four fun and easy blank statements are posted for us to borrow, complete, and share on our site. The point is to simply have fun linking, reading, and meeting others who enjoy this sort of thing.

I’m joining Lexa in Celebrate The Small Things. Here’s my list of celebrations!

I’m celebrating… having lots of fun baking Christmas goodies and making homemade candies for the season.  This is something that gives me great joy but what makes me even happier is to share my creations.  Hopefully, I can find a few people namely DD#1, DD#2, DSIL, and DS to pass my love to and if not… we’ll just eat it all ourselves. 🙂

What are you celebrating?

See what others are celebrating this week below and if you want to join the linky, then visit Lexa!

Let’s begin celebrating with Friendship Friday and Friday Features linky parties where you’re sure to make new friends and get lots of inspiration!

That’s a wrap for now, but if you like music then I invite you to come back for Saturday Songsuasion. Until next time, have a fototastic weekend!

  1. I loved the funnies, especially the last one! I thought the pic was wonderful. I’d never have parts of it were photoshopped. Yay for Christmas goodies and a hungry family to eat them!

Thanks for dropping by my blog! About gingerbread houses, I’ve never made one, but a friend gave me a kit once. I kept promising myself I’d make it, but I just nibbled on the parts! Although I kept it in the fridge, after a month or two, the gingerbread got hard as a rock. But a yummy rock! lol

    Merry Christmas!!

    1. Colette, The Christmas Inn is beautiful at night but you should see it during the day. It’s gorgeous! I took some photos a few years back of it and I need to find those to share. I shall have to try to do that next Christmas for sure. Time is getting away from me to do anything more this go around. Have a blessed Christmas, my friend!
