Last week, Patrice ended her questions asking us to ask a question and so here they are with my responses.
“What’s your favorite coffee drink,” said Barbie.
“This time of year, I really like seasonal flavors such as pumpkin spice, but I won’t buy those fancy ones. Instead, I make my own. It’s not only more affordable but better tasting in my opinion.”
Dreaming says, “Oh, that sounds yummy, Cathy! Tell me, what’s the chore you hate the most that you wish Blogger would come do?”
“Well, can I say ‘all’ chores…”
Everyone laughs.
“I believe I’d have to say…dusting. I hate to dust because of my allergies. Every time I do anything remotely close to eliminating a speckle of dust, then I get stuffy, my nose drips, I sneeze, my head hurts, … You get the picture, right?”
“We sure do,” said Farm Girl. “I’m curious, why did you decide to start a blog?”
“It all started with my children’s book. Once it was in my publisher’s hands I knew I needed to do something to create my worldwide presence. I’m not famous, except in my mind and I knew that wouldn’t generate many sells. So, lo and behold, Cathy Kennedy’s Blog was born!”
Suzanne said, “Who’s your most famous relative?”
“I don’t know about famous, but I suppose he was famous of sorts for rural West Virginia. I can’t remember his name. Someone told me once a distant relative was hung for stealing a horse. Does that count?” I laughed.
Remember last week, I asked have you ever given yourself a home perm? Well, I attempted and got through step one to realize my rods didn’t work. Thankfully, my hair wasn’t harmed. I bought new rods over the weekend and will try my hand at it again.”

DIY Lattes at Home: Use your favorite dark roast coffee. I like using Italian roast. For a 12 ounce cup of coffee, I prefer using about three-fourths of an ounce of Torani Sugar-free Pumpkin Pie coffee syrup, topped with a generous heap of Reddi Wip and a few dashes of cinnamon.

Dusting stirs up my allergies too! I have a relative WAY back that was supposed to be a horse thief. We have a couple of interesting things in common.
Maybe if I’d tried that pumpkin-pie flavored coffee I would still be drinking it. Sounds so yummy!
