Last week, I shared that autumn is beginning to reveal itself in the higher elevations of the Smoky’s. The same day, I captured a few photographs of the slightly changing landscape.
The mountain stream in the above picture with one lone tree announcing to the others, “Hey, it’s autumn get with the program!” The tiny body of water could be heard which is quite surprising considering to my back there is a river which is noisy.
The Little Pigeon River is almost deafening loud. It’s a beautiful spot but it’s difficult to stay there for too long and it makes having a conversation at a reasonable volume level impossible. It’s still a lovely place to drop by for quick glance to absorb the sound of nature.
In the below picture, I used an Etheral filter in Pixelmator Pro that made the yellows pop in the image. I image last weekend this spot looked more like my enhanced photo.
