1000 Reasons to be Thankful #11-20

Week Two of 1000 Reasons to be Thankful

I found a lovely blog geared for those who are thankful for God’s blessings. What a marvelous, encouraging outlet to stream positive energies across the world-wide net to other sisters in Christ!

The lovely woman @ a holy experience wrote a beautiful post called Why a Christian Family May Celebrate Passover.  I had always come to think of the Passover as being solely a Jewish celebration, but after reading this I can see the relevance for Christian families to remember this special occasion.  I want to share this with you and hope you’ll take a moment to read it. I think it may bless you, as it did me.

Today, I begin my list…

11.  The blessings of the rain to replenish our earth’s supply and to give nourishment to the plants.

12.  The cool weather after a storm allowing me to appreciate the warm days better.

  1. The wind which seems to whisper in my ear, I am God and I am here for you.

14.  My kind and generous husband who puts me before himself.

15.  The beautiful spring blooms and the vibrant colors which remind me every year of Jesus’ resurrection.

16.  The sting of pain so I may know the joy of happiness when all is well.

17.  Life’s lessons which teach me often to never take for granted what I have because I never know when it will be gone – a job, your home, a loved one.

18.  My children – my lovely daughters and sweet son.

19.  The knowledge God gives me to understand conventional and homeopathic remedies for healing my body and hopefully ensuring my longevity for God’s purpose.

20.  To be here today to share my thanksgivings and blessings.
