Good morning, kittens & dawgs! Well, I’m behind on getting my post together but I have a good excuse. Well, you may not agree with me on it being good, but I feel good about it. I was busy slamming all of my social medias with the hopes of helping an undecided voter or to convert other voters to Trump. That’s all I will on that matter. 😉
I reckon some of you are here to get the results of my last BOTB showdown. I used the Beatles’ hit, Revolution for my battle cover song. The contest was Mike and the Mechanics VS Rascal Flatts. In the beginning, I thought it was going to be a tight race but Rascal Flatts took the lead and didn’t let up giving them 10 to 4, which is who I picked.
To celebrate this bands victory here is another Rascal Flatts song honoring our military, which is sorta fitting with Veterans Day on Friday.

I’m joining Les from Ink Interrupted for Tuesday Coffee Chat this with this morning’s prompt:
I’m going to give you a challenge for the rest of this month. I want you to think about something in your life you’d like to focus on — just for you – and commit to that task. Maybe it will require a daily check in. Maybe only weekly. Perhaps it’s writing a certain number of words per day. Or a photo a day. The only rule is that it is For YOU. Your need.
I do have something I already committed to doing and it’s actually for someone else but by doing it, it is also for me. It involves crafts and creativity. Two driving elements that enlighten my spirit. Something I very much need in my life. I hope to begin my project this week and perhaps next week I can share what I’m doing without giving a lot of details. You know if a certain someone is reading my blog. I don’t want to let the “Cathy” out of the bag yet. 😉
That’s a wrap for this morning. I’m hopping over to Stacy’s for Random Tuesday Thoughts and you’re welcome to join me if you want. I hope you’ll hop & link up tomorrow for Wordless Wednesday. Have a terrific Tuesday!

Wishing you a fantastic evening, Cathy.
Thanks, Myke! I’m sorry for not responding before now but it’s been hectic here. lol I hope you have a good evening, too.
I picked the lesser side in your BOTB, but I hope I picked the winner in the election.

Lee, I’m often on the wrong side of the BoTB, but we both picked the winner in the most important showdown of our life! Boy, am I EVER so happy, too!
Now, I can’t wait to see what you are creating! I do take time for myself but I am working on something for my dearest friend and I am way behind. I think I will concentrate on that.
Birgit, I probably won’t get a chance to delve into my little project until this weekend at the earliest. The week is wild and now all I want to do is de-stress a bit before taking on anything else. Oh well, at least I’m feeling good now!
Happy Election Day, Cathy! 🙂 I’m still in the thick of it here in California (flying home tomorrow). I was surprised to see they`re still running political ads on TV today, as I thought that isn’t allowed. Rascal Flatts did a great job with “Revolution”and I enjoyed their moving veterans tribute as well. Have a good rest of the week.
I admit that’s a good idea. Doing something for you. I may need to do that as well. Something fun, something interesting, something, just for me.
Well, to be honest, I posted the results of my latest music battle and I have to say. I pretty much did it only for me. I had lots of fun with it, even if most people will have no idea what is going on.LOL
PS – I helped pick the winner! 🙂
Jeffrey, yes do something just for you. It’s a great mood booster! Blogging should be fun. I think it’s easy to get wrapped up in the blog hops, return visits, & responding to comments that it’s stressful. That defeats the reason we blog. I liked that shared your results for you and I will be over a little later for a visit.
