Good morning, kittens & dawgs! This month I’m dancing to the blessings in my life. The first of the month, I celebrated family and friends. Last week, I gave credit to my good health. This week, I’m thankful for what I have. No matter how small or how big. I know all blessings come from the Lord.
I’m thankful for my home, this home I live in now, as well as my parents’ home.
Are you ready to boogie? Lace up your blue suede shoes, it’s time to dance!
On behalf of the lovely Dancing Queen, XmasDolly, and her Solid Gold dancers ~ AmericanSpice, Stacy Uncorked, Everyday Life, & myself thank you for joining us for another week of Monday’s Music Moves Me.
Now, it’s time for you to ask us to step out on the dance floor with you. By linking your musical post (all non-music link ups are labeled or removed) URL (not your main blog address) below you are inviting the 4M crew to boogie down to your tunes. Remember to hop over to dance with our Spotlight Dancer at #1
NOTE: Every other week a Spotlight Dancer is selected from the linky party, if you want a chance at it, then don’t forget to add your music post URL.
Another blessing is DH’s job. If you know our history, then you know that his job in town is absolutely a God send. From 2000-2010 he worked in Chattanooga and made the commute every single day. In March 2010, he lost his job, but God opened the door to another position across town within a matter of days. So, we are truly grateful that we can say.
Although, we never suffered like our parents did during the Depression years, we have experienced rough patches. However, through good times or bad, we have always been blessed with food on the table and shoes on our feet.
Did you have a good time on the dance floor? I did. Why not show some blog love? Invite your friends to hit the dance floor with the 4M crew now. There’s always room for one more! Next stop… your place! What music moves you?
Would you like to participate in my Happy Birthday Club? If so, then simply send your name, blog URL, and birthday (month and day or complete birthdate – whatever you are comfortable with) to by email or leave yours in the comments below and I’ll be sure to list you on my special birthday post for that month.

Yes, I’m running extremely late here, but because I am I’m also finding that some of my gals are also running pretty late. I started from the end to work my way up to the beginning, and some of our stragglers don’t have a comment from not one of us. This isn’t good. I’m thinking about calling a meeting whatcha think? Anyway, I’m letting it slide for now due to the holidays. Love your choices and you’ve rocked the house to say the least!!! HAPPY THANKSGIVING MY FRIEND!
Great choice of quoting from the psalms in that one photo… it’s part of a song that the Jewish a-cappella group ShireiNU does at Northwestern (with that line in Hebrew: הודו לה’ כי טוב, כי לעולם חסדו)
LOVE Homeward Bound — I tear up every single time!! Some great blessings to be thankful for! God certainly takes care of us all – I know He does my little family.
And you know, even if I had the money… I just cannot see paying hundreds, or even thousands of dollars FOR Clothes!!!??? seriously? Is there actual gold thread in them or something? I mean how much better can a pair of $500 dollar jeans be, than a $100? What’s the difference?
Although, men do look very good in a nice suit. I do consider that something to be grateful for. 😉
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
So much to be thankful for Cathy.
*HUGS* – so many years blogging through the web. I am happy to know you.

Nice choices although Homeward Bound is my fave out of these

Love your choices, Cathy! Great things to give thanks about – and I’m thankful you’re my friend. 🙂 Have a wonderful Thanksgiving – and thanks for the dance! 😉
Blessed with A Wonderful World, let’s sing the Thanksgiving Song because it’s All About That Baste
I’m thankful for my family, good health and life. I hope you’re enjoying your new home this holiday season and blessed to have your parents with you. Great tunes you picked this week (and we’re all the Spotlight Dancer’s) and thanks for the dance.
