Little over a year ago, I was somehow reminded of Alicia Bridges. I don’t know if I stumbled on her while plundering through YT for music or one of you shared her music. Regardless of how she dropped back into my life, I saved the link to The Collection playlist that I’m about to share with you. Are you ready to boogie?
I Love the Nightlife was an international hit and the most recognizable song on this list for me. It was joy to listen to all the songs, though. Sometimes you just got to go back to those days of disco just for a moment.
Music themes are only suggestions. I don’t care one what kind of music it is, as long as you share music. Now, it’s your turn!

Alicia Bridges has a golden voice, and we like that Nightlife song. The video doesn’t show us any mewsic, but we’re hopping over to YT to listen to her other songs. Your painting is very beautiful, CK, what kept you so long to hide all these masterpieces

The Brushstrokes creation is of an photography I snapped many springs ago on a Dogwood Trail here in town. The Brushstrokes app adds a bit of magic. What a great birthday tribute to John. Alicia Bridges could have been on John’s 5 for Friday chanteuses.
This brings back memories, although, as you say, I only remember the one song. I wish John many happy returns of the day!
Interesting, I only knew Alicia Bridges for I Love the Nightlife but there were several songs here that I liked better (not to say that her hit was bad-I did, and still do, like disco). I also liked that version of Happy Birthday. Have a great week! Alana ramblinwitham
