A Soulful Christmas

Awww Mondays hosted by Sandee from Comedy Plus

Our theme for the entire month is Christmas music.  In the spirit of keeping things simple this month, I’m pulling from my reserved music stash a new artist discovery I made back in the summer of an adult pop and contemporary jazz singer, Jennifer Saran.

(Don’t Let It Be) a Sad Ol’ Christmas Dec. 2019
Soulful Christmas Nov. 2017

Jennifer has another holiday playlist on YT that’s more traditional sounding which is nice but I really love her soulful side.

This is a music link up.  Your post must contain at least one song or your URL is marked “No Music”.

4M co-hostess are featured in my right side bar underneath the banner. The guidelines are simple.  Every other week, a suggested (not mandatory) theme is given to build your song picks. YouTube and other music sites have options to create and embed playlists or individual songs into your post. On the off weeks, we dance to whatever music moves you (your choice)! To access the party, add your music post below, and visit others on the dance floor. Let the party begin!

Thank you for coming to the party. This is CAAC signing off, enjoy the blessings of the Christmas season and have a boogietasticweek, my friends!  X💋X💋, Cathy

Monday’s Sparks….

“Let us have music for Christmas…
Sound the trumpet of joy and rebirth;
Let each of us try, with a song in our hearts,
To bring peace to men on earth.”

    1. Debbie,

I love that mature women are more embracing of their hair change. After failed attempts (it didn’t take many) to mask the silver, I began to see the beauty and refer to it as glitter. I mean, who doesn’t like glitter? 🙂

  1. Love love the Monday Sparks “Let us have music for Christmas…” I play Christmas music every day, just love it so much. It’s touching in so many ways! Thank you!

    1. There’s nothing wrong with playing Christmas music every day. I do every day beginning right after Thanksgiving. After the new year, I do put it away just so to keep it special for the holidays. 🙂 Thanks for visiting!

  2. I’M SO HAPPY YOU CAME! Love you tunes… and your bears are so sweet. MERRY CHRISTMAS my bestie!!! Your song with the Temptations is awesome… I’ve never heard that one before. Have a merry holiday and I pray you have the merriest Christmas ever! HUGS and Thank you for being my bestie friend always! HUGS

  3. She’s got a very good voice and she is easy to understand. She doesn’t scream it out or contort her mouth all over the place

    1. Birgit,

I prefer singers like like Jennifer who’s easy on the ears, too. I really hate when artists who obviously have talent but can’t contain their volume. I want to say, “Hey, don’t you know what that mic is for? Pipe it down!” Hee-Hee I also really dislike when singers do not enunciate their words properly. That’s just so lazy and you don’t know what their saying sometimes. Thanks for dropping by, my dear!

  4. Such great songs here. I will have to listen to her more. Very nice. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.

  5. Awww on the bears. So cute.
