50Q&A, Part 4 of 5

A month ago, I started answering a series of questions I found on The Organic Blonde. (Update: The Organic Blonde URL removed. It no longer worked). Life just got in the way.  What can I say? I’m human! Okay, that’s not an excuse. It’s definitely not a good one.  Anyhow, I found myself pushing it off, day after day after day. The procrastination stops now,  my friend! Applauds, please. Thank you, thank you!  I know you’ve been waiting for me to continue this…ta-dah…I give you part 4!

31.At what time in your recent past have you felt most passionate and alive?
I’m not sure.  I’ve felt fairly passionate most of my life. I love being with my family…I love doing the things I do…I just love being alive!

32.If not now, then when?
See question 31….

33.If you haven’t achieved it yet, what do you have to lose?
See question 31….

34.Have you ever been with someone, said nothing, and walked away feeling like you just had the best conversation ever?
Anytime I have alone time with my husband, I get this sense.  We can be snug or hold hands or simply be in the same room watching TV. Our hearts have an unspoken conversation which is felt like the mist on an early morn or a cool breeze on a summer night day – totally peaceful and beautiful.

35.Why do religions that support love cause so many wars?
Humans are the cause of wars and not religion. Christianity, the only true religion of love, doesn’t insight war for religious reasons.  Christians may fight to keep one’s homeland, personal freedoms, and way of life.

36.Is it possible to know, without a doubt, what is good and what is evil?
Discerning good from evil has gotten tricky.  You can’t always look outwardly to see the evil, which lurks in the heart of man.  Evil can disguise itself in a $3000 suit with a silver tongue, good looks, and charm or it can be buried inside a multi-piercing, tattoo-clad, Gothic looking person.

Usually, I found anytime something sounds too good to be true then a caution flag begins to wave and alert horn sounds in my head to watch out!

(37). If you just won a million dollars, would you quit your job?
My job is a SAHM, so nope. lol But, I’d like it if my husband would leave his job temporarily or forever to enjoy the rest of our lives together.

(38). Would you rather have less work to do, or more work you actually enjoy doing?
As a SAHM, I enjoy my work immensely.  I prefer to keep busy throughout the day, instead of being idol. That tends to lead to bad habits like eating unnecessarily. That’s not good for anyone.

(39). Do you feel like you’ve lived this day a hundred times before?
Not this particular day, but many days are very much the same and some days are like deja vu. So weird!

(40). When was the last time you marched into the dark with only the soft glow of an idea you strongly believed in?
Wow, these questions are incredibly deep.  I have deeply strong convictions or ideas and regardless of where others stand on matters near to my heart, I will cling to them even in a soft glow of the darkness because in my heart there is a neon light which says, “I believe!”

I want to leave you with one of my mother’s poems from her book.

Roses

Today we came with roses array
To visit your marker and the grave,
We knew what was best
The day that you were laid to rest —
God called your name and you left that day
He made a special place for you to stay.
A land where there is no night —
Only beauty, where Jesus Christ is the Light.
Where peace, love, and joy are known.
In a place you can call your own —

We miss you, We love you —
We praise the Lord for you —
But I would not call you back to a world of grief and pain,
You gained it all in Jesus name.

We go back home with Heaven in view,
Because shortly we will be with you
In a land where hearts are never broken
And unkind words are never spoken.
