How many times have I heard Angie Baby before? I don’t know, but I never, ever listened to the lyrics really until today. You gotta love Helen Reddy’s spootacular smoky voice that adds just the right edge to this 1970s song.
Welcome to Monday’s Music Moves Me 113th edition!
This week’s theme is “Halloween music, videos, cartoons or bloopers.”
When DH & I were dating in 1977, we got to see Atlanta Rhythm Section in concert at Bluefield State Community College. This second-hand song charted Billboard Hits in 1979.
The Sonny & Cher show was a popular icon in TV viewing for most of us growing up in the 70s. Do you remember this song?
For those who are not as mature (age-wise) as some of us, then perhaps this one will be more familiar from the 1990 TV show Twin Peaks. A lovely theme song which will forever haunt your memory with the murder of Laura Palmer at the onset of the first season.
Twin Peaks is available on Netflix.

I really need to go back and watch Twin Peaks – especially since it was a fictional Washington State location – the filmed exteriors in Snoqualmie and North Bend are places I’ve been to many times! 🙂 LOVE all your choices – have a safe and Happy Halloween, Cathy! 🙂
Problem – Somebody’s Watching Me do the Monster Mash with Werewolves in London causing A Nightmare On My Street… Zing!
Love your choices Cathy – Happy Halloween & MM Xxxx
I agree with that Angie Baby song.
Very nice list Cathy!
Happy Monday
I loved twin peaks – the main actor was on Desperate Housewives…I’ll have to look it up on Netflix.
The Twin peaks song was really cool. And my mom liked that show a lot so it reminds me of her.
Love Helen’s voice!
All the others are new, except of course Twin Peaks….which I most certainly have to now go back and watch on Netflix.
