It is day 17 of the A to Z Challenge and from this point forward things will be a bit sticky for me as I try to wind this challenge up with each daily art illustration in which now I’ve caught up my scheduled posts. Yikes, right? Today, we’re covering the alphabet prompt “O”. In 2017, I sketched an owl nestled in a hollow tree. Looking back on that drawing it seems a bit confusing. That owl looks more like a cross between a penguin and an owl. Needless to say, I made some serious changes to my Procreate recreation. Take a look at the then and now illustrations.
My refresh take on the owl doesn’t make him look like the “night owl” that he’s supposed to be but then that’s me for ya. I’m definitely not a night owl but I know some of you are and you make like my song pick for today, “Night Owl” by James Taylor.
It’s time to head over to the A2Z headquarters and you’re welcome to come with me. Thanks for including me in your day. This is CAAC signing off, I’ll be back tomorrow with the next letter in the alphabet!
