Good-morning! It’s time to start the week all over again. I missed out on last week 4M theme, but it’s freebie style this week. With that, then you know where I’m gonna with today’s music, kittens & dawgs. That’s right! My favorite band from the 60s that fits perfect with songs of bands and/or people with animal names in them is none other than Herman’s Hermits.
Come on y’all, it’s time to hit the dance floor with these classics by Herman’s Hermits from the flower power era.

This British pop sensation formed a year after I was born in 1962. I remember my uncle Roger singing I’m Henry the Eighth, I Am when I was small. I recall thinking it was a funny song, but in retrospect, I believe it was my uncle that was funny. He loved making me laugh.
Which Herman’s Hermits song is your favorite? I know, I know that’s an impossible question to answer, if you’re like me because they had too many darn good tunes to pick just one. That being said, I think I’d go with I’m Into Something Good simply because the tune is so upbeat and it makes me feel happy!

Or, if you like tell us where else you’d like for us find ya…
I reached out to Herman’s Hermits’ Peter Noone by email asking him to stop by my little niche to say hi. We’ll see, if he gets my request for this tiny favor and who knows maybe he’ll find time to boogie with us. 😉 Thanks for joining me on the dance floor this morning. Have a marvelous tunetastic week!
