10-Days Counting

I’m excited!

Why? Yesterday, my publishers said my manuscript is ready to go to press.  In precisely 10-business days, I will have in hand my book, The Tale of Ole Green Eyes.  This is something I’ve dreamed about for years. The anticipation has built over the last several months and now the gap between dreams and reality is closing fast.  No doubt, you will hear a loud joyful glee in your part of the country when I press my printed copy against my chest for the first time.  Keep a watch for my news bulletin announcing its arrival and word of when it will appear in the marketplace.  Would you like to reserve an autograph copy? 1. Congratulations…that is so exciting..Thanks for stopping by my blog..following you back from tuesday’s blog hop…Happy Halloween

  2. @Caren…well girl, put pen to paper or in this case fingers to keyboard and get shaking. There is nothing like the present to begin something new, right? Good-luck!

@Amanda…yeah, it became clear to me a series would be a nice approach as well to help build a following for any future writings.

@Leann…lol I hear you. We’ll both be shouting, huh? =D

  5. Now you have me breathlessly waiting for the next book 🙂 I was hoping you’d decide to make it in to a series when you were debating it.

  8. @Amanda…you’re such a sweetheart. I can’t wait to share my story with you, too. Did I tell you, I’m working on a second story with the same characters? It’s true!

@Cindy…thank you for your support and please do pick my brain if you decide to go this route. I’m thrilled with my decision to do this. At least I can say, “I have no regrets”, right?

  9. Good luck and congratulations. I’m considering publishing a book also. I’ll have to check back often and pick your brain. Thanks for visiting my site; I’m following back.

  10. I’m so happy for you! It’s got to be a great feeling to know the book will be in your hands soon. I would say to try to keep breathing between now and then, but I would be sitting on my front step waiting for the book to arrive.
I totally can’t wait to get my own copy of The Tale of Ole Green Eyes.
Congrats, Cathy! It’s all been worth it.
