  1. It’s amazing how technology can enhance photographs like that! And that photograph it makes me want to go out on a lake but unfortunately it’s super cold lately. Fall has arrived early it seems!

  2. I have been looking for a water color app to work with, trying several out now. I love how it changes the photos. I would love for you to stop by and linkup this week.
Have a great day, Happy Fall

  3. It looks very good. I’m impressed. I’m not much of a photographer. I press the button and that’s about it. And if I’m lucky I get a good picture.

    1. All that matters is that you’re having fun. I certainly don’t consider myself good, either. I just get lucky every once in awhile, but I have a blast trying to find those magical few shots.

  4. That is a cool app. I love your photo. I recently discovered Sktechify an app that changes photos to water colors.

    1. Kristin, I will look into the Sktechify app. I love photo editing to get an artsy feel sometimes and different programs offer a wider range of versatility.

  5. Hi Cathy! Thanks for introducing me to Fotor. I have been using Picasa and PicMonkey and now I’ve added a new one to try. I went through all the types of edits, but couldn’t find Texture or Edifice. Which icon is it under? Is it under Edit – Effects – ??? Have a great week!

    1. Christine, You’re most welcome. I love sharing something new (to others)! Assuming your program layout is the same (I got the free app from the Apple Store), then on the right side menu, click on Effect and a second menu will open with several effect options. At the bottom, you will see Texture. That’s where Edifice if located. Have a good day! I’ll be by your place soon.

      1. I guessed that is where it would be. It seems that some options aren’t available to everyone. I’m looking at it on Google Chrome and the Edit – Effects gives me a long list of options, but Texture is not one of them. Thanks for trying to help me! I will still try to use Fotor once in a while now that I know about them. I have a feeling they are somehow connected to the PicMonkey team, because the icons and layout are so similar. 1. Marie, Although our winters are quite a bit milder compared to Illinois winters I still don’t look forward to them here, either. However, I do love the fall time of the year ~ the cool temps, foliage colors, pumpkin spice, & everything nice! lol
