I know what you’re thinking, you’re thinking of the TV series and every time I think of Twin Peaks I always think of the soft, haunting voice of Julee Cruise and if you like her style then you may want to listen to Monday’s featured artist because one of my commenters made the connection to Twin Peaks.
This morning’s music inspiration is from the popular TV program, but my photo-art creation is a simple mash-up of images taken of a new restaurant (opened 2014). We have not eaten here yet, but it sure looks neat.
Have you eaten at a Twin Peaks? If so, what do you recommend? Are you a fan of the cult classic TV show? Did you know ShowTime network will air a new season of Twin Peaks in 2016?
I hope you’re finding time to make the most of the long summer days, but if you’re stuck indoors due to rainy weather, then you might want to check out these #WW shutterbugs.

looks like a good restaurant to me! we don’t have one here, and i’ve never watched the show…actually, never even heard of it. but if that resto was here, i’d try it at least once. 😉
and funny haha joke!
Never heard of the restaurant. Did hear about the new season of the show. (There seems to be a lot of that going around lately.)
Never been to this place, but it’s sure a great place to take some fantastic photos. Thanks for sharing girlfriend! bwahahahaha joke is too funny! What a dork!
I have not been to a Twin Peaks restaurant, but indeed I hear that it is in the style of Hooters, Tilted Kilt, etc. My Dad didn’t have very good reviews of their food. And the women? None of my beeswax.
Loved the show and love your pic. Very nice.
Beautiful picture, wonderful place!
Ohhhhhh!!! Twin Peaks returns??!! That should be something. will definitely have to check that out. Obviously I have not eaten at that restaurant, but you can bet I would check it out if I was closer. Lovely edit.
Good morning, dear Cathy! Yessum, I was a huge fan of the original Twin Peaks television series and the hauntingly beautiful singing of Julee Cruise used in the soundtrack. I also saw the movie prequel Fire Walk With Me which had a different actress, Moira “One Tree Hill” Kelly playing Donna Hayward. I am eager to watch the new Twin Peaks series but worried that it won’t be as brilliantly moody, atmospheric, eerie, scary and funny as the original. We shall see. In the past year I enjoyed watching Kyle “Special Agent Cooper” MacLachlan in his recurring role on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
The only Twin Peaks restaurant I know of is the Dallas based chain of “breastaurants” that have opened in recent years to compete with Hooters. The Twin Peaks closest to me is in Orlando and Mrs. Shady and I have not yet eaten there. I’d probably leave the place with sore shins from Mrs. S. repeatedly kicking me under the table! 🙂 I am curious to know if the Twin Peaks restaurant near you is part of that chain or one that was inspired by the David Lynch series. Be sure to write a review if you dine there.
Have a wonderful Wednesday, dear friend Cathy!
I also remembered that show when I saw your title!
I’ve never been to a Twin Peaks restaurant or really watched the show much. Maybe I’ll check out the new show! Happy WW!
What a beautiful photo, and LOL @ the joke heheh!
Have a phototastic week 🙂
