Tagged

A week or so ago, Sarah from Magnolia Surprise tagged me. I realize I’m a bit late joining in on the fun but life happens is all I can say. Now, being the sucker that I am, I’m going to play along. Isn’t that what friends are for?

Here’s what I have to do to participate in this fun

  1. Post the rules
  2. Answer the questions the tagger sent you
  3. Create 8 new questions for those you plan to tag
  4. Tag 8 bloggers (poor suckers) with a link to your post
  5. Let them know they’ve been tagged.

Rules are posted. Now to delve into the questions Sarah sent me.

If you had to quit doing what you do now, what would you do? Hmmm,  does this mean quit being a SAHM or blogging. Oh heavens! The world would stop for me, if I had to do either. Really! Is this a short or long-term thingy we’re talking about Sarah? I’m going with a temporary break and think what my tagger means is blogging. If I had to quit blogging for the moment, I’d go deep clean my son’s room. In fact, I’m doing this sorta in-between posts.

What’s your favorite junk food? I would have to say ice cream. This hasn’t always been so. If you had asked me this question a few years ago I would have said without hesitation or reservation hands down with the answer of chocolate, as in chocolate candy. Don’t get me wrong, I STILL love chocolate and usually when I have ice cream chocolate has to be part of the ingredients most of the time.

If you be an animal, which one would it be, and why? This is totally an easy answer for me. I would say I’d like to be a cat…not that my name is CAThy, but because cats have the good life, especially indoor cats. Don’t you agree? I mean, they can lay around and nap all day, if they want. They can be moody and still their owners love them. In fact, I think the moodier a cat is the more their owners love them. That’s not such a bad life now, is it?

Who is your favorite singer of all time and which song? It’s really hard for me to pick a favorite singer because of my great affection for music, but I will pick one that I love the silky smooth voice of this artist!

What was your nickname as a child? Did you like or hate it? This is embarrassing now. I mean, I don’t recall if I had a nickname or not, but ALL kids usually do, right? My childhood was only a few short years ago. Okay, so I’m stretching the truth on that score. Maybe, it has been more years than I can remember and that’s why I don’t recall a nickname. I was blond as a child. Could this account for anything? At times, I think I didn’t actually grew out of being a blond even though my hair has.

Which reality TV show do you watch without fail? (’cause I know you do…) It’s hard to think of the shows I watch as reality TV shows, but I believe they do fall into this category. My favorites are AI, America’s Got Talent, Celebrity Apprentice, & DWTS. Last night, we stumbled on DWTS. I had no idea it was back on again, but we’re simply delighted to see it has returned. This season should be interesting as they have returning stars.

Carnival rides — love ’em, or scream like a girl? I noticed you didn’t list hate ’em as one of the choices, Sarah as this would definitely would have been my answer. So, I would have to say I would “scream like a girl”. That is if I made it through the ride alive. I hate, hate, hate amusement/carnival rides period. Wait! I do like the bumper cars and carousel. =D

If there was one thing you could change about yourself, what would it be?(c’mon, fess up!) Actually, I have to things I would change if I could. After three children I would love to have my tummy flat again and I think the only way I’m going to get that look again is with a tummy tuck procedure. Pregnancy, surgeries, and age are enemies of a woman’s mid-section. Another thing is, I would like to have a breast job done. Not to be bigger or anything, just give me a bit back from my younger years or what naturally did not come to me. You know some gals just have that perky lift which passed me by through the gene pool. DH likes my breast and that’s the bottom line but if I can improve upon what I have then I would go for it.

The rules say for me to create my own 8 questions and then to tag 8 bloggers. I have learned through trial and error that tagging isn’t too favorable among my circle of blog buddies and that’s okay by me…really! So, forgive me, Sarah.  I’m going to make a slight moderation to the rules. That’s me, the ole rule breaker, right?

This is gonna be low-key to keep everyone merry today.  I promise! Below are my 8 questions. You can answer any or all of them in comments or if you want to grab the questions (would you be a peach & link back to me) to create your own Tag post then…”Tag, you’re it!”

My questions:

1. When was the last time you shaved?

2.Do you have to wax your upper lip?
3. How often do you tweeze your eyebrows?
4. What was the last thought that crossed your mind before going to sleep last night?
5. When making love, does your mind wander sometimes? If so, how do you get back on track?
6. Which do you prefer on your pie, whipped cream or ice cream?
7. Do you carry a large or small purse or somewhere in between?
8. What have you tried or watched or read lately that you would highly recommend to me?

It’s time to grab my coffee cup and head over to visit my bloggy friends for some random conversation. Feel free to tag along.

I think I’m the only person in the world that doesn’t like ice cream. I mean, I’ll eat it with a slice of chocolate cake but it’s not like I love it. I LOVE slightly undercooked WARM brownies from a box! Mmmm!! And I always keep a box in the pantry for “emergencies”. lol

Great answers! thanks for linking up with us!

I shave everyday…my legs and underarms that is. My eyebrows are waxed every 6 weeks when I go in for a cut and foil and no, I do not wax my lip…Ouch!

I am one of those weird ones and love those carnival rides 🙂
You have some great questions, if I have some time, I think I might link back to you and answer your eight questions in a post 🙂 But, I will tell you, I wax everything, I can’t stand tweezers, so, I wax, eyebrows and lip!!

Your reference to Andy Williams made me think of his Christmas Special every year. I so looked forward to it because that meant the Osmonds would be on as guests. woo.

Andy Williams causes me to remininse of Christmas pasts, too. I always loved his TV specials. I remember when Marie Osmond performed on his program when she was around 13. I think she had recorded a record and I was so impressed at the time. Funny, I just didn’t realize at the time with the whole Osmond clan into show business then this was really an easy shoe in for her, not that she isn’t talented because she is…the whole bunch is! I miss those by-gone days of innocent…Andy Williams…the Osmonds, don’t you?

I definitely could not quit blogging – I’ve started to shake just thinking about it. And I would certainly like to continue as a SAHM until all my kids are at least in school full time – if not longer. With one shift worker parent, I think it just makes home life much easier. Less stress if 1 parent is always available.
I love rides – twist me, send my upside down and backwards, fast, faster. Love it. Although, it has been a few years, so maybe after babies tummy might not be as iron-like.
I don’t think I watch any reality TV shows. seriously, not a one. If I did, it would probably be a dance or music one though.
And I definitely wouldn’t mind some assistance in the tucking and lifting department! But I would settle for access to a personal trainer and a babysitter over surgery. Other than that, I definitely need to work much harder on my patience levels.
Thanks for linking up….I may tackle your Tag questions later.

Getting your body whipped into shape either with the assitance of a personal trainer or DIY is really the best approach. I think I just like to moan about what’s not going happen with the many hits my body has taken over the years. Doing our best (and this really means doing something instead of wishing or covering up)and having a sense of confidence is really sexy, so I’m going to have to pour my “sexy” on this way. =D

We are going to watch DWTS as well although we PVR’d it because we had dancing class last night. I agree I would love to have my tummy back and be a size 10 again without working out or dieting.
