Smoother than Chocolate Love Mewsic

Thank you for including me in your Monday, kittens & dawgs! ? My friend, XmasDolly puts together the Monday’s Music Moves Me ? linky party. Recently I volunteered to co-host to fill-in while Stacy Uncorked moved into her new home who’s now back. Welcome back, Stacy! But, guess what? So am I! I’m back to full capacity doing my old gig again with the 4M crew. Stacy suggested today’s theme, “Trains or railroads – song titles, lyrics, or anything relating to both”!

I invite you to hit the dance floor!

Although Stacy’s theme is fabulous. I had this post done ahead. I hope you enjoy my Valentine’s Day theme, Smoother than chocolate Love Mewsic!

Share your photography, crafts, mewsic, and more posts with Charles on Mondays with Feeling Inspired?

Something About December & more Monday Mewsic

afterxmas1

Good morning, kittens & dawgs!  How was y’all Christmas?  December is really scooting by, isn’t it?  It’s funny as a kid, I remember when the calendar flipped to December that it took forever for Christmas to arrive but this month is anything other than a long December.

This December is flying by faster than Santa’s reindeer but honestly, there’s something magical about December, don’t you agree?

While we had a rather mild Christmas weekend we have had some cold December nights and in my opinion, that really makes the season all the more Christmasy.

Because this month zipped just like a snap of a finger it’s now late December!

I guess I can share one more peek at some beautiful Christmas lights, though.  This is the Christmas Village in Pigeon Forge.  It looks like Christmas all year round there but during the holidays they make it even more festive.   Do you see the small lighted buildings just above the garland?  One of the product lines The Christmas Village carries is Department 56.  This is where DH bought my first pieces of my New England Christmas Village.  I’d love to expand my collection so I can put a bit in every room of the house. Hey, a girl can dream, can’t she?

I hope you enjoyed this morning’s mewsic collection.  Are you still listening to Christmas tunes or have you moved on to other mewsic?

Thank you for including me in your Monday. ? My friend, XmasDolly who puts on the Monday’s Music Moves Me ? linky party is a bit short-handed and I volunteered to co-host as long for as long as she needs me.  You’re invited to hit the dance floor.  This month’s theme is Christmas anything!

I’m taking a break from Blogosphere until after the New Year.  My schedule posts are set and I plan to pop in to respond to comments and do return visits as time permits. You’re welcome to hop back for not-so Wordless Wednesday!

Christmas Mewsic Inspired Choices

Thank you for including me in your Monday, Kittens & Dawgs!  My friend, XmasDolly who puts on the Monday’s Music Moves Me ? linky party is a bit short-handed and I volunteered to co-host as long for as long as she needs me.  You’re invited to hit the dance floor.  This month’s theme is Christmas anything!

While visiting fellow bloggers last week, I was moved by the mewsic and so, I decided to share my Christmas Mewsic Inspired Choices from You today!

Ramona from ‘Create With Joy’ shared this beautiful contemporary Christian arrangement.

Transatlantic Orchestra always rocks the season and thanks to Sci-Fi author and fellow blogger Alex J. Cavanaugh for reminding me of this awesome number.  Now, I want to plot how to catch some stupid crooks  or maybe I’ll just watch Home Alone!

I stumbled upon this Romanian song shared by a fellow photographer from the Thought Traveler and you can follow along with the lyrics in English to December, here.

I borrowed the next song pick from fellow BoTBs bud, Robin.

I will close with one of my own inspirational choices from last Christmas by The Piano Guys and David Archuelette (American Idol Season 7 runner-up).

What’s your favorite Christmas mewsic to listen to, contemporary or traditional? ?

I’m taking a break from Blogosphere until after the New Year.  My regular posts are scheduled, so I plan to pop in to respond to comments and do return visits as time permits.  I’m certain you understand and more than likely you’re doing the same thing.  Have a joyous time celebrating the holiday season!

Our lovely hostesses, XmasDolly, would like to thank you for joining the party and as always JAmericanSpice, Stacy Uncorked, Just the stuff ya know & myself are happy that you came. Now, it’s time to get our groove on with you so remember to link up and shake your bootie with the fellow rockin’ blogger buds below!

Dance party rules: Grab XmasDolly 4M button here, display it on your blog, and then add your favorite weekly music theme YouTube videos for everyone to enjoy. We aren’t music snobs and if you have tunes to share that don’t fit the theme, then no problem! As long as you have music to share, then you’re cool coz all we want to do is dance with you!

iTunes drives my stereos these days. Most recently, I was listening to the Smooth Pop station.  I asked the DJ to spin these tunes for you…

Phillip Phillips has a unique voice. I like how he does a do-over on another person’s song. Here is his take on Chris Isaak’s Wicked Game….

This song gets stuck in my head, every time it plays on iTunes radio and I still have yet to buy it!

Did you have a good time on the dance floor? I did.  Wanna make this party better? Here is a challenge for you, invite at least one of your friends to commit to joining next Monday’s dance party. If we all do this and everyone shows, then we will bring the roof down!

That’s a wrap for this week. Next stop… your place!  What music moves you?

Be sure to come back next week to dance with the 4M crew, and if you can’t get enough music, then join me for Saturday Song-suasion!

Saturday Song-suasion #16 with Michael Bublé

Thank you for taking time out of your weekend to listen to today’s music. It’s the most wonderful time of the year. That being said for the entire month of December, I will spotlight an artist/band featuring some of their Christmas music.

Grab a cup of hot cocoa, and cozy up for some soothing tunes by…

Michael Bublé!

Michael Bublé’s style is different by today’s standards in new artist style. He is very much like many of the old classic artists – Bing Crosby, Perry Como, and Andy Williams to name just a few that I grew up listening to. I think this is why I enjoy Bublé’s music so much. I hope you enjoyed listening to just a few of his selections and your visit here.  In fact, I hope you enjoyed it so much that you cannot wait to tell your friends. Go ahead, hit the share (Facebook, Twitter, Google+) button! You know you wanna. 😉

Have a sensational Saturday!

Operation Christmas

Welcome to week 169 of

I don’t know how it got to be December so soon, but here we are facing another beautiful Christmas season. Personally, I love this time of the year. I find there is no other season where humanity for others is kinder than this blessed season creates.

This week and for the entire month, we are hosting a “Christmas” theme – music, movie clips, galore. Whatever makes you jolly, or puts that “ho-ho” (sorry, no bah-hum-bugs allowed) in your attitude, then we want to hear it right here on Monday’s Music Moves Me!

Thank you for joining the Christmas party this week. Your lovely hostesses, XmasDolly along with co-hostsdance crew:  JAmericanSpice, Stacy Uncorked, Just the stuff ya know & myself are happy that you came. Now, it’s time to get our groove on with you so remember to link up and shake your bootie with the fellow rockin’ blogger buds below!

It’s NOT beginning to look like Christmas. It HAS been looking like Christmas a little each day since Halloween left the retailers shops. lol But, that’s okay by me – I’m a kid at heart.

However, in light of all the holiday festivities, I would like to encourage you during the somewhat madness of it all to please remember the true reason for which we celebrate this season.

Next stop… your place!  What Christmas music moves you this morning?
