Weathered buildings
Abandoned fields
Whispers from yesterday
Echo through the hills
Of a long, forgotten Past

WOW! What a great picture that is… makes me dream about simpler times!
Those photos are absolutely beautiful, and I’m a big fan of Ms. Dolly Parton {and it’s not because we share the same birthday}! LOVED her in “Steel Magnolias.” You have a beautiful blog here, Cathy … glad to have found it through Local Sugar! I’m clicking over to become your newest GFC follower!
Dolly is a sweetheart or so she seems. I believe I saw the movie “Steel Magnolias”, but that’s been a lot of years ago. I think it’s now on Netflix, so I may have to check into re-watching it. Thanks for visiting. It’s always nice to make new friends.
I remember when I went through a Dolly Parton phase awhile back; ironically I was in middle school! LOL
I’d love to visit the smokey mountains-They seem so beautiful and majestic 🙂
The Smokies are a great honeymoon spot just in case you ever need any ideas. Dolly got her start here in Knoxville on the Cass Walker Show, but this was long before we moved into the area. I would love to meet Dolly. She seems so warm. I alawys enjoyed watching her on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.
