#AtoZChallenge Creating iPad Art Sketches “K”

Hello, Kitten & Dawgs, baby goats are so cute! A few years ago we were driving around town one Sunday along more country like roads just outside of Knoxville when we came a cross a small fenced in field with a handful of goats. There were a few small ones which were adorable, too. I looked through my archieved photos but couldn’t find the pictures I’m remembering but thankfully the Internet has a plethora of images to draw inspiration from to sketch my KIDl

  1. Hi Cathy, I love baby goats – so much energy wrapped up in a cute, funny little package. They always seem to have a smile on their faces and have boundless energy. Love your picture – the smile is there and I can just imagine them jumping in the air at any moment.
    Have a really lovely day.

  2. ooooo One more thing… did you ever think of making cards? I mean like Thank you cards, invitations, Christmas cards.??? You would be great at it. I know a girl that does it. Her name is Stephanie & her blog is called “Glitterbabe” that’s all she does is cards I guess as a hobby. 1. Marie,

Well…I’m very happy that I (or was it my sketch) put you in a better mood. The A2Z Challenge is an excellent way to stir attention for your blog but you really do have to work. I’ve learned you get back what you put into it. It’s a gorgeous day here, too. The wind is really stout, though. I think it could pick me up and whisk me off to Kansas. 🙂 Have an pAwesome day!

  4. Oh your picture is so cute and sweet! I love it and if you framed it or made a card out of it, I know the person who you give it to will love it.

    1. Birgit,

I think this one would make a cute card. I printed my daisies image onto cardstock last week for my mom’s birthday and it turned out nice. I’m sure this one would do well, too.

  5. Hi, Kathy!

Happy “K” day to you, dear friend! I appreciate your darling sketch of a kid. It immediately brought back a very fond memory. My girlfriend and future wife, Mrs. Shady #1, lived at the edge of a fenced farm pasture. During courtship my girlfriend and I enjoyed strolling along the fence and beckoning the farm animals to come to us. Several cows were tame enough to come to the fence, and a young goat, a kid, wearing a bell around his neck just like the one in your illustration, also took a fancy to us and loved to come over and get petted and scratched. We called him quite simply “the goatie.”

Thank you for triggering a happy memory with your drawing, dear friend Cathy. Have a wonderful day!

    1. Tom,

I’m delighted my daily sketch brought forth a sweet memory of your courting days. I’m drawn to baby animals. They are just so adorable. It’s interesting to think about the joy that animals bring to us. They not only nurture us or keep us warm but their presence delights the soul. Don’t worry about misspelling my name, dear friend. After all, my grandma did it her entire life. lol Have a blessed day and thanks for visiting.
