It’s spring, boys and girls. How many of you suffer from allergies? Zyrtec is a popular OTC allergy medication which claims to relieve your allergy symptoms for 24 hours. That’s a big claim. Have any of you boys and girls used Zyrtec?

Do you know what this is boys and girls?

Yes, it’s an old TV set. This is a Zenith TV, which has been an American icon since the late 1930s.

But, did you know that Zenith got its start as an amateur radio company, boys and girls? Maybe, your grandparents had like this.

Boys and girls, do you know what this is?

It’s a Zeppelin! That’s right it looks like a giant balloon. This rigid airship was invented by a German Count, Ferdinand von Zeppelin in the early 20th century before the first World War. Hmmm, I wonder, if Led Zeppelin’s music played aboard the Zeppelin? What do you mean, you’ve never heard of Led Zeppelin? Check this out….

You’re right, boys and girls. Led Zeppelin is a modern-day crazy British rock band that started in the late 1960s. That’s like three-fourths of a century after the Zeppelin. Wow, that’s a long time!

Have you ever you ever used this expression, “I have a zillion things to do?” What is a zillion? A zillion is a numerical term, but in this case, this numerical word doesn’t have a specific value, say as a million or billion does. A zillion simply is used to mean a huge amount. Maybe, the US Government need to begin using this expression when they are talking about our national debt. What do you think boys and girls?

Our geography lesson for today is on Zion. Do you know where Zion is, boys and girls? That’s right, Zion is what we know as Jerusalem. I bet you learned that in Sunday School boys and girls, didn’t you?

Do you like to dance boys and girls? Do you enjoy exercise? No? I bet you like having fun, though, right? Well, you’re going like this exercise because it’s a lot like dancing, but it’s a whole lot of fun. It’s Zumba! Look how much fun this is…

Last night, I had a blast doing my Zumba cardio party DVD for an hour & a half. Boy, am I’m sore today! But…I’m looking forward to having another party in my living room this evening. Wanna join me?

Now to link up your Z words for today, then join Mrs. Jenny’s classroom for Alphabe-Thursday!

  1. Love your z post to the class :o) Learned a lot of different “Zs”! Ah! I am familiar with Zyrtec…thankfully, hadn’t had to take any in ages! And I love the old Zepplin tv and radio photos. I’d love to visit Zion…but Zumba…can’t get motivated to move in that direction :o)

    Blessings & Aloha!
trying to get some more “Z” posts, and goodness! it’s almost time for another alphabe-thursday post!!!

  2. Zumba is awesome! If you want your heart to pitter patter then this is the one for you. I like the dance style exercise workouts out a lot. I’m going to look to see if there are others I can order. I use the Cardio Zumba video. Sometimes, I’ll do it twice which gives an hour and a half of Zumba fun.

  3. Well…I’d like to think I’m superwoman, but I sure do feel like her. This superwoman aches to much when pushed to the limits. Zumba is great fun, but at ehem 49, it takes its toll on my body. I’m hoping to snap out of this craziness and find my old self again. It thrills me that you enjoy my posts. I mean coming from someone who is so clever with her posts. Let me say, “WOW!” See you at your place on Thursday, if not before. =D

  4. What a fun excursion through the variations on the letter Z! listening to Led Zeppelin now. love that song! I’ve thought of doing zumba. I’ll look at your video next.

  5. Okay. First of all I can’t get over my amazement that you could actually do Zumba for AN HOUR!!!! You are superwoman, obviously.

I didn’t know that about zillion…or I guess I never thought of it. It’s interesting to read it is only a concept of representation.

Thanks for a zippy wrap up for this round of Alphabe-Thursday!

I always enjoy visiting your creative posts!

    A+

  6. I’m glad you enjoyed it. I got in on the tail end of this meme and am looking forward to the next go around Jenny plans to begin.

  7. What a terrific “Z” post! It made for quite a fun read. Thanks for the memories.

  8. You had me stumped with dirigibles, but not anymore. LOL I like learning new words. While I’m not a huge fan of Led Zeppelin, I did like their song, Stairway to Heaven. Many thanks for your visit to my humble little niche in cyberspace!

  9. Thanks for stopping by Polly. I would have enjoyed coming by your blog, but I didn’t know what you link is. Feel free to leave it next time, I’ll be certain to zip by yours. =D

  10. Yes I take Zyrtec-D. It saved me last time I started to get sick. And I remember the Zenith TV’s. I may have had one too!
Zeppelin’s are dirigibles, and love Led Zeppelin!~Ames

  11. And you sound like you’re honest. LOL. It does require work and it gives you a good work out. Of course, I’m ahem pushing 50 so aerobics get a bit tricker for me each year. I’m fighting tooth and nail to keep the aging process away. Thanks for visiting!

  12. I’ve heard a bit about Zumba. Is it hard? I have to admit I’m skinny but lazy and that looks like some work!
