Earlier this month while taking additional time off blogging, DH and I visited Cades Cove nestled in the GSM national park. On Friday, I shared my Grist Mill photograph taken there and this morning’s Wordless Wednesday contribution I captured at the picnic area near the cove’s entrance.
Due to Thanksgiving and my hair-brained self there will be no featured photographer this week. However, things will resume to normal next week…I hope. *blush*
Just a reminder, each week I use random.org to pick a new photographer. I would like the opportunity to put your blog on display. To win a chance in the spotlight, then join the linky party below with your photographic wonder URL.
Thank you for making me apart of your day. Please leave your comments footprints so that I know you came and I will hop over to your place soon. Have a foto-tastic day!
Would you like to participate in my Happy Birthday Club? If so, then simply send your name, blog URL, and birthday (month and day or complete birthdate – whatever you are comfortable with) to: curiousasacathy@gmail.com and I’ll be sure to list you on my special birthday post for that month.

Oh boy, I’m so forgetful lately I’m so sorry to here that your DH’s job is teetering. This is very uncool. Needless to say I know how worried you two can be as I said Dave was laid off since last Thanksgiving, but he has a new job… another new job and is making $1.34 more than the last, much closer to home, and I think he’s going to like this one much better too. So you both are on my prayer list my friend. Not to worry prayer is a very strong thing to have on your side. HUGS & save me a leg will ya… oh, and plenty of gravy… I love me some home-made turkey gravy… hey got any recipes for that???
I hope you don’t mind, but I signed you on my linky. I didn’t realize it didn’t Post. So sorry! I figured it was okay since you already stopped by. HUGS AND HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Very autumnal! Our kids could spend all day playing somewhere like that 🙂
I can almost hear the water falling over the rocks.
Excellent picture, excellent framing, beautiful creek in the woods!
This looks like a beautiful place to stop, have a break and… just let your mind wander.
Happy Thanksgiving, Cathy!
great shot!
Beautiful!
Here’s my Wordless Wednesday!
How beautiful!
Wonderful autumn picture!
Happy Thanksgiving 🙂
so beautiful and peaceful!! Just the spot to sit and ponder and grab some peace of mind. I feel I need it this week with world events unfolding as they are!
It’s nice to enjoy God’s great big world when life is going ballistic. I’m always refreshed and calmed by the beautiful of the world God gave us. Thanks for visiting, Les! Have an awesome week. I probably won’t be around much this week with Thanksgiving, but I am sure thankful for all of my lovely friends in Blogosphere!
What a beautiful quiet spot to take a stroll and just soak in the beauty of Mother Nature. Thanks for sharing my friend and have a wonderful day! 🙂
