#WW: Flowers in a jar

Good-morning, kittens & dawgs! If you haven’t heard the news I’m back from my long blogging break. Although, I was unplugged from the net, I found it difficult to unplug myself from one of my favorite pastimes ~ photography.

On one of our adventures to the mountains in the early morning hours, we enjoyed the stunning beauty of the Appalachian mountains from a campground off the Blue Ridge Parkway.  I snapped frame after frame in order to preserve at least one good shot of that morning, as I pulled away just to awe I noticed this bit of quaintness.

I imaged someone parked their RV where I stood because not only did the campers leave the mason flower vase behind, but a rug and it so happened when I opened my car door it was precisely where my foot landed. lol The funny thing is I didn’t even notice it (the rug) until I was getting back into the car. I should have taken a picture, but the make shift flower vase was more interesting. Don’t you think?

Sending a round of applauds and cheers to this week’s featured photographer…

    1. Poetic, you say?! I like that. Yes, I think I sensed that at the precise second I captured it, but didn’t know it until now. Thanks for pointing this out.

  1. now this makes me wonder about what we might possibly have left behind on our many camping excursions?! Ha. I am normally pretty thorough though when we pack up. But it’s such a great shot — they look so forlorn just sitting there.
And I don’t think you should have to unplug from photography! it’s capturing beautiful moments of life — you can’t have too much of that.
