#WW: Fantasy Island Not

Thank you for being apart of my day. I’m sharing today’s photo with these fine Wordless Wednesday communities which you can find at the top of this page under Daily Blog Hops.

Watauga Lake near Elizabethton, Tennessee. I’m continuing to dabble in artistic play ~ turning an ordinary photo into something cool using Light Trails texture in Fotor. Click on image to enlarge.

Now join me in sending a round of applauds and cheers to this week’s featured photographer…

  1. that’s a gorgeous shot! water, sky, mountains, forest — doesn’t get any better than that. and a little touch of magic too! 🙂

    1. I see the connection a wee bit between VanGogh’s painting and my photo editing effect on my island lake shot. It would be awesome, if I were a great photographer as VanGogh was a greater painter. But…I’m content with where I am at with my abilities for the moment.

  2. A picture like a dream…
And a famous featuring blog “Travelling cats” – that’s very especially and lovely (and I will follow them)
    Thanks for hosting 🙂

  3. That’s so neat! I’m going to have to look into these photo enhancements and possibly play around with a few myself 🙂

    1. Do try photo effects in your photo editor (free or purchased)! It’s a lot of fun to change up your image, doing something that you know can’t be done (or at least I don’t know how) by simply clicking the shutter button. There’s no mistake when you see my photo that I did something to it. Sometimes it’s hard to know when someone has PhotoShoppped their pictures, you know? Are they a good photographer or are they good at photo editing? See? But, do have fun playing with your digital pictures. You’ll like the creativity at your finger tips with a few clicks. Thanks for visiting, Kayla! 😉

    1. The photo effect does make you think of an early twilight. The shot was actually taken early afternoon with over-cast skies. It wasn’t the best day for capturing the right mood, but I saw the opportunity to play with my photos despite the less than perfect conditions.

    1. Marie, I used the free photo editing software, Fotor, that I found in the App Store for Apple. I think it’s also available in the Google Play store, but it doesn’t have the same features that mine does and I’m not sure if it’s free. There are few free online photo editing programs that are fun to use, too, like FotoFlexer & PicMonkey to name a few. These programs make adding photo enhancements easy.
