Good morning, kittens & dawgs while clicking through the “Crowd Picks” on ReverbNation my ears perked when I heard today’s featured artist. His mellow rock style compares with James Taylor. Allow me to introduce Will Baird to you!
After a 25-year music hiatus, Baird resurfaced in recent years as a songwriter. He began his music career when he was a college student in Boston where he played in subways. He gained local notoriety performing the coffeehouse circuit in Cambridge and Harvard Square. Currently, he’s focusing on writing, recording, and performing in clubs and church festivals in New England, New York, and Nashville Tennessee.
What did you think of today’s mewsic? Is this a new-to-you group or did you know who they are? Are you a new fan of Will Baird?

After 25 years haitus, he definitely still has it.
Thanks for sharing this new find Cathy.
Have a blessed week! *HUGS*
I enjoyed him. I love it when someone comes out of hiding and produces something terrific.
New to me Cat girl… very different, but so talented.. I’m likin’ the tune too… Thanks for sharing my dear friend. Have a rockin’ week.
Marie, Did you listen to all of Will’s song selections? If not, when you get a chance you might want to click through them to get a thorough experience of his music talent. Thanks for dancing with me today, my friend!
For first time hearing I quite enjoyed it it is so refreshing hearing how people work their way up in their profession and not relied on XFactor LOL 🙂
Have a mellowtastic day Cathy 🙂
Hi Cathy, the song isn’t really my cup of tea, but it never hurts to listen to something new, because, who knows, you might like it 🙂 Have a great Sunday!
Claudia, not a problem that this style music isn’t your cup of tea. But, like you said you’ll never know until you give something a listen. I appreciate you coming over to give Will Baird a shot!
What a great find, Cathy! I can’t even begin to tell you how it makes me feel. As a Baird, it gives me such a warm fuzzy feeling whenever I see the name in lights. (I know.. I’m a wee bit crazy).
Mary, I’m delighted my featured artists is a good match to your listening pleasure. I like his style, too. Is Baird your maiden name? Or, am I missing something?
Great cartoons. Love the one of the cat “warming” up his fishy friends. We just lost another fin friend today. My husband and I are ready to replace the them all with mechanical fish. I think I’m overfeeding the poor things.
I wish I could make biscuits, but it’s probably a good thing I can’t because I would eat them all.
Tamara, yeah I liked the cat one, too. That just cracked me up. I love biscuits, but I limit myself to only one biscuit whenever I have them even when they first come out of the oven. However, DH can eat half a dozen without blinking an eye sometimes. It amazes me! The thing is he’s not a big man. I think he has a hollow leg. lol
