Welcome to Monday’s Music Moves Me on Sundays! This week’s theme is whatever music moves you!
Anytime a new-to-me song or artist grips my attention, I save a link for future reference. Today’s music pick was inspired by Drillers Place when he put up The Teskey Brothers, “Oceans of Emotions” as one of his 4M choices more than a year ago. I thought I’d share the entire playlist that song can be found on The Winding Way album.
Remember music themes are only suggestions. I don’t care one way or another. The important thing is to share whatever music moves you. Now, it’s your turn!

For curious minds, wondering about the different school colors. My freshman year was at the junior high he attended and he was a senior in high school. The following year, I went to IHS and he was in college.

It was a blessing in disguise that you had no BOTB for Oct. 1 because it prompted me to click back to this 4M post. I certainly am glad I did. These Australian Blues Brothers are amazing! The Teskey Bros. sound exactly like Otis Redding, and the arrangements are ripped from the vaults of the legendary Stax/Volt Records in Memphis. It’s hard to believe such authentically soulful sounds come from those blokes Down Under. I thoroughly enjoyed every song as well as the videos. Thanks for the introduction!

Thank you for the kind shout out. I believe I discovered the Teskey Brothers from their appearance on CBS Saturday Mornings. The show always ends with a musical group and I found their sound appealed to me. Have a blessed week.

The Teskey Brothers – I would have thought they were a Motown group from the first song (except for the video!) I looked them up and they are from Australia. They have an interesting sound!
