Good-morning, kittens and dawgs! In my last BoTB showdown I featured Candice Accola a.k.a Caroline Forbes from The Vampire Diaries singing The Bangles cover Eternal Flame. While exploring YouTube for more music by Candice to share in my result post, I found another cast member from TVD who sings. I thought why not share my discovery with you. Isn’t that what friends do?
Today, I’m introducing Kat Graham or better known as Bonnie Bennett to all TVD fans. Turn up the volume and if it moves you then… dance.
No one will judge you. 😉 ?
What did you think of Kat? Did you do a little chair boogieing? Common’ admit it, you chair boogied! I Know I did. 😀
Thanks for sharing this dance with me. Don’t forget to hop over to vote in tomorrows round of Battle of The Band (BoTB). Now, it’s time to hit the dance floor with the 4M crew! Have a tunetastic day!

I had no idea she sings too! Great voice! 🙂
This is a new voice for me. I do love her voice waves. Very fun selections!
Hope your week is going great Cathy!
Hi, it’s Marie from Pages to Explore.
I had no idea that Kat could sing.
Thank you for hopping over, Marie. So, I gather you’re also a regular TVD viewer?! It’s nice when I trip over something new while researching something else. That’s when I tuck the new info away for another day to share with my friends. Have a good week and I hope to see you again next week! 😉
Stopping by to say hello Cathy – enjoyed your jam – have a fabulous week! 🙂
I didn’t know “Bonnie” sang too! Thanks for the introduction.
Kisma, you’re quite welcome!
I know her from the show Vampire Diaries but I had no idea she was also a singer!!! Wow! I like her music! Thanks for teaching me something new!! 🙂
My song for this week is “Alice” by Avril Lavigne

Trisha, I love participating in music memes! I have learned so much over the years about a new or not-so-new artists. I’m glad you like Kat’s style. I’ll be sure to boogie on over to your place and link up. Thanks for the invite!
I’m not familiar with this artist, but she’s pretty good.

Joyce, MMMM is an excellent way to get new exposure on many different artists and genres. Thanks for dancing over!
Oh, she is a new singer to me and she is fantastic. I like her voice and her music makes me move.
Michelle, I love how soft Kat can sing. That’s one of my favorite qualities to hear in a female voice. So glad her music moved you, too. 😉
thank you for introducing me to Kat – I had never heard of her before. She is lovely.
You’re welcome, Pat! It’s nice bringing this new artist to all of my readers today. I was pleasantly surprised to find Kat when I did. Thanks for popping in for a visit.
Kat seems to have what it takes. TVD is not a show that I watch, but it appears that it has the potential of becoming a jumping off place for artists that want to get recognized for their music.

Lee, Your analysis of these shows being a start point for these artists to gain recognition because I was thinking the same thing. I’m not sure, if they’ll weather the industry as newcomers. The music business seems harder to break than acting. I may be wrong about that. Maybe these actresses just want the opportunity to test the waters without giving up their acting gig altogether. Oh well, thanks for stopping by and I’ll be looking forward to seeing what you have in store for me on tomorrow’s BoTB!
A lot of these girls I think they’re trying to take the spot of Whitney Houston. They got a long way to go I think, but this girl is really good. I never heard of her so all this is new to me. Great dance music for sure. YOU ROCKED THE HOUSE GIRLFRIEND!!!
Marie, I think a good number of female artists use Whitney as a benchmark to their success, but like you said they have a LONG way to go. Whitney was a powerhouse performer. I like when a vocalists knows her strengths, then utilizing them appropriately. I like hearing a range control anything from soft to dynamic overtures. Most artists think, if you scream the lyrics then you’re good. This does not make a singer good, IMO. I’m glad you enjoyed Kat and as I said before the samples of her music I shared today are nice, but the others aren’t anything special. She’s young enough to find her way in the music industry, though. It’s great to boogie with you, my friend!
Hi, Cathy!
Your ears are matching mine these days because, as you discovered in my recent post, I am getting into modern dance club music for the very first time. Kat is sensational. I went directly to Amazon to get familiar with her catalog and I have added her EP to my purchase list for March. “Wanna Say” is so popular that a CD containing 4 remixes is also available.
Thank you for introducing Kat Graham and her exciting music, dear friend Cathy!
Tom, I’m so glad you enjoyed the new sound of Kat. I found with much of her music it was a lot like many other young artists today, but this handful I shared seemed to exceptional and tapped on the quality of her voice the best. Thanks for telling me you purchased Wanna Say. I plan on getting a few of these tunes through iTunes. I need to remember to include an Amazon link to music I share. I do have a general Amazon link in my side bar, though. 🙂 Well, my friend I will boogie over to your place momentarily. Have a tunetastic week and thanks for stopping in!
