We are currently watching the 2010 TV show, The Good Guys, on Netflix. The program was short-lived on FOX lasting only one season. For the life of me, I can’t figure this one out because this is one of the best TV series to air in a looooong time. It is a well-written adventure/action comedy about two Dallas Police Detectives – Dan Stark (Bradley Whitford) and Jack Bailey (Colin Hanks).
Stark is an old-school cop who relies on hunches and doesn’t hesitate to throw the rules out the window to solve a crime. Whereas, Bailey, is a stiff collar, by-the-book, in favor of technology to bring the criminal to justice. This paired partnership of opposite ways-of-thinking/doing between two cops is what puts the magic in the series.
A word of advice to FOX….“This is a fabulously, fun show. Please, bring back The Good Guys!”
