Skywatch, Sillies, and Fill-ins Fun

Skywatch Friday contribution
Fort Loudon Lake in Concord, Tennessee just outside of Knoxville on the west side. Skywatch Friday contribution

I captured this gorgeous East Tennessee sunset with my big girl camera in November 2012. This is a late fall sunset but looking at the sun’s glow in this image warms me.

It’s time for a dose of humor. Louis la Vache’s @Friday Funnies made me laugh recently and I want to make you laugh, too.

The below video should be called, Why people from India can’t rob a bank, but regardless what it’s called it deserves to be shared with you.

A friend sent an email chockfull of crazy headlines. Here is a sample of just a few…

Finishing things up today, here’s my response to Hilary’s Follow Friday Four Fill-In Fun statements.

  1. Tomorrow is World Thinking Day did you know such a national day existed? Not me! To learn more, click here.
  2. I really think I need a real get-away vacation to someplace very special! Say…Bar Harbor, Maine, but not this time of the year.
  3. I would never own a fur coat of any kind. I think they are beautiful, but I can’t stand the smell of animal fur or for that matter tanned leather apparel.
  4. The craziest gift I ever got was an under pillow stereo speaker. DH got me this for our first Christmas when we were dating. It wasn’t crazy, but the build up was. I asked for a hint and this is what he told me, your present is 20-feet long.  I actually loved the under pillow stereo speaker. It was just what I needed to listen to music at night to help me fall asleep without bothering anyone else. He is a creative gift-giver!

Keep smiling and a have laughtastic weekend!

  1. Oh gosh, I LOVE Fluffy!!! I just watch his videos over and over again to make me laugh, especially when a laugh is needed ^.^

That sunset is indeed quite gorgeous! I wish we had those kinds of sunsets here in IL. We’ve had a few good ones but nothing quite as magical and breathtaking as that one.

  2. That was hilarious. It’s so true, we have a copy from Pakistan at our church and they are so unfailing polite, gracious and kind. and that’s coming from a Canadian!
Beautiful capture. that golden sun is perfect for our freezing rain kinda day today.
LOL. Dear Editor: You have One Job!!

  3. World Thinking Day who would have thought rofl. Should I put a pail on my head like Gomer Pyle did yesterday in the Andy Griffith Show? Too funny! Love your humor. Good way to start the day check out your blog. Going to become a follower.
