The vintage pin-up girls have a sex appeal that’s missing in our society. In the day, the above image would be racy. Mothers would be shielding their young children’s eyes and giving their husbands’ an unfavorable glare. The reality is, these models while certainly sexy in an innocent sort of way were feminine right down to their feet.
Do you have a shoe fetish? I love shoes of all kinds sneakers, sandals, high heels, or nature’s shoe of choice my bare feet. For the most part, I’m a sneaker wearing gal. It’s just so much easier to slip on my Nike’s with pink and white laces (a cute touch of femininity) when I have oodles of errands to run. There are times when being a vintage pin-up isn’t practical. My feet don’t tire allowing me to get more things done while keeping my toes toasty warm wearing during the cooler months.
After the winter weather breaks, then it’s time to pull my heels out. I like wearing classic 3.5-inch pumps. Classic pumps can be worn with just about anything – dresses, skirts, shorts, jeans, or nothing at all. Suggestion, you may want to stay home if you opt for that last clothing or lack of clothing when you wear classic pumps. LOL
Sandals are casual, fun footwear. I don’t wear flat sandals so much anymore, but I do love sporting high heel sandals. It adds a sense of sexiness to flash your toes. My shoe closet consists of strappy sandals that tie up my leg and buckle at my ankle. They are delicate and display my small feet in a soft, feminine appeal.
One of my all time favorites is nature’s shoe choice, my bare feet. Once the temperatures spike, then off come the shoes. I love walking bare feet! The various sensations your feet detect walking across carpet or hardwood floor are contrasting touches or brushing the soles of your feet against grass or hot sand or pebbly driveways send various messages to the brain. Going barefoot is liberating! Don’t you just love taking off your shoes after a long day? Aaaah… nice, right? Shoe fetish or not, beautiful footwear capture a woman’s attention. Next time you slip into your favorite high heels take notice of the heads that turn when you walk by. 😉

@Judy…it must be nice to be tall. I always wanted to be taller than my 5’2″, but as I grew older I’ve gotten comfortable being this tall or should I say short? LOL. Oh I know I’m not short.
@SelfSagacity..yeah, I don’t like really pointy shoes either. Some shoes are ridiculously pointy. Wedges and plaforms are cute, though. I don’t have any of them. I’d say they are more comfortable for extended wear than heels. Perhaps it’s time to buy a pair to see what I think of them. =D
Since I’ve been home, I haven’t been wearing heels much. However, I still love them. I don’t like the pointy heels as much as the wedges and the platforms. They are much more comfortable, but they don’t look as sexy, or girlie.
I have never had a fascination for high heels. I have always been tall and do not like to look down on guys. Bare-footing is what I love.
@Donnie…ouch a tore tendon you say! I’d be so lost without my heels. I’m not too tall, either. At least I don’t feel quite the shrimp when I’m elevated three and half inches. Your comment about your ankles is cute, but it made me think of years goneby when it was indecent of a woman to show her ankles. What would they think today, right? LOL
I used to wear heels because I’m pretty short but tore a tendon in my left foot and have been restricted to flats ever since. I do still have nice ankles though (according to Don)…lol..
