Saturday Song-usasion #13 with the sound of bluegrass

Thank you for taking time out of your weekend to stop by to listen to today’s music. My inspiration this Saturday comes from recent posts this past week. I am not featuring one particular performer or band, but instead music from our neighboring Appalachian mountains.

The sound of bluegrass!

I hope you enjoyed your visit. In fact, I hope you enjoyed it so much that you cannot wait to tell your friends. Go ahead, hit the share (Facebook, Twitter, Google+) button! You know you wanna. 😉

Have a sensational Saturday! If you love music, then you’re going to want to come back to join me for Monday’s Music Moves Me!Save

  1. I either read somewhere or watched a documentary on bluegrass music and its origin. I learned that this type of music is very much like the music from the countries (Scotland/Ireland) of those who settled the area. After discovering this little tie-bit, I had a newer appreciation of that style of music more.

    1. Really? Well that must explain it then….since I have Celtic roots! it must speak to the kitchen party tradition that runs in my veins. ha!

  2. whoops. I think the internet ate my first comment.
blue grass music has always interested me. it’s so different and unique from anything I would here in my country.
