Good morning, my lovelies! I don’t care what the calendar says, summer is here and with it comes typical summer-like weather with highs in the upper 80s and the threat of afternoon thunderstorms. Let’s start the day off with the sound of Birdy!
This young British talent rose to fame in 2008 when she won the Open Mic UK competition at the age of 12 outperforming 10,000 other contestants by singing an original “So Be Free” that she wrote for 2000 people.
Her début chart breaking single across Europe, Bon Iver “Skinny Love” (track 2) adaptation, earned platinum certification 6x in Australia and can be heard on the below album.
Her second début album (below) released last August receiving positive favor in the UK and across the Atlantic.
