Merry Christmas, kittens and dawgs! It’s Christmas week. Whew, this month really flew by right before my eyes!
This battle initial leaned toward Kim Wilde, but somewhere along the way the numbers evened out and then Saturday night Fae tied things up with her vote for Home Free. I was SO hoping the few who hadn’t voted would weigh in, but the holidays has everyone dashing around doing other things. I don’t blame them, REALLY I don’t, but this leaves my vote naming the winner. Lucky for me Robin saved the day breaking the stalemate and giving the victory to….
Thank you, dear Robin! 😉 Just so you know had it come down to it, I was going with the winner anyhow because I love their harmony on this song.
Did your favorite artist win?
I appreciate y’all checking in. Also, I want you to know I’m taking a break until January 4th. This means I won’t post a BoTB for the first, but I’ll be raring to go by the 15th. I promise! What a thrill it is to be apart of this fun little hop. I feel I have made life-long friends with each of you. Have a joyful Christmas and my prayers are for God’s blessings to be with you in the coming new year!

What a good battle! Merry Christmas to you Cathy. Enjoy your well-deserved break. Will miss you on the 1st but looking forward to seeing you again on for the battle on the 15th. Happy New Year. Have a magical season! May all the joys that come with Christmas be yours…

This is the second battle I lost in a tie. Oh well, the fun is the battle, not if we win or lose. Right?
Quickly popped in to wish you and your family a very merry Christmas, Cathy. I hope you will have a wonderful and relaxing time.
p.s. I would have voted for Kim Wilde – 80s!!
Claudia, Merry Christmas to you, dearie! I will look forward to a little R&R by the weekend. I’m still under the gun to get things done before tomorrow, but I’m enjoying myself. BTW, I need to pick your brain, my German Strudel. lol There’s a German recipe that you might be able to offer some insight and I’m hoping you’re familiar with it. Anyhow, I’ll shoot you an email soon! Be safe this holiday season.
Close battle for the Holidays. I hope you have a great holiday season.
Mike, yes it a close one. Actually, this one and the prior one both were close ones. Have a Merry Christmas and I’ll see you mid-January!
Ha, Kim Wilde! That is fabulous. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Oh, I love Angels We Have Heard on High.
Love,
Janie
Nice by ‘Home Free’ 🙂 Merry Christmas!
As an 80’s child I’d definitely have leaned towards Kim Wilde!
Paul, I don’t remember Kim from the 80s, but then again by the late 80s I took on the new role as a mommy so my brain got a bit frazzled. I’m telling you I have blocks of my memory just gone. My husband will say, do you remember so-and-so? I’m like…ahhh, that’s when DD#1 was born, so NO, I don’t remember! lol I don’t know how I survived my three children’s infancy with little to no sleep and now if I don’t 8 hours every night then I’m a walking disaster. All I can figure is God give new moms something special to keep them going. Thanks for popping by!
Cathy, thank you for a very happy BOTB year! Enjoy time off in January. I’ll look for you on the 15th! Though I didn’t pick the winner, here, it was a great battle.
Love and joy come to you…
Dixie
Dixie, Thanks my friend! I plan to just do a little chillaxing by the end of the week. Meanwhile, I need to do just a little more hustling to get everything finished before the big day. I’ll catch you mid-January, dearie!
Hi, Cathy!
Congratulations! That was a close race. My horse didn’t win this time but I enjoyed both versions. I will be back to check out your January 15 battle. Until then I wish you and your family all the blessings of the holidays. Merry Christmas, dear friend Cathy!
Tom, well your horse didn’t come in, but it was a fun race all the same. Thanks for everything and I’ll see you on the 15th, my friend!
