Revealing This Endris Night Winner

The first BOTB all three contenders earned favor among my voters but one band or style resonated with my readers.  Let me cut to the chase, Irish Christmas took this battle to victory snatching Tom, Stephen, Sandee, Ellen, and Mary’s votes.  Lee and John preferred Log Cabin whereas Diedre, Mimi, and Brian liked Traditional Irish Christmas.  I like all three styles but had I put my two-cents into the pot then I would’ve gone  with “Log Cabin”.

Let me close things with a full Irish Christmas playlist by The Orchard Enterprises (Alisa Jones · Mark Howard · John Mock · Stuart Duncan).

I was a bit puzzled when I put the first two contenders (Log Cabin and Irish Christmas) against each other because both arrangements featured some of the same musicians.  This battle was really more about style instead of the musicians it seems. 🙂  Oh well…it worked out okay.

Special thanks to everyone who chimed in to make this battle interesting.  It’s because of your involvement that makes doing this fun.  In my right side menu, you’ll see a list of my fellow BOTBers with their own outcomes to report.  Please stop by to see how theirs turned out.

Next week, DH is off from work. I’m taking a short blogging hiatus to spend it with him, but I do have scheduled posts in cue beginning with Monday’s Music Moves Me. This month the party is 🎄all about Christmas/holiday music🎄. Swing by to enjoy the fun!  On Wednesday, it’s Visiting Christmases Past through old blog posts and then on Thursday, I have a second Christmas edition BOTB set.

This is CAAC signing off, have a glorious holiday season.  May the Light of the World fill you from your head to your toes this day and every day after. God bless, my friend! X💋X💋, Cathy

  1. That was a really excellent BOTB installment, CAThy!

It was one of the rare 3-Way Battles in which I liked all 3 contenders and really had to concentrate in order to whittle down my vote to that ONE I liked best.

Great vote tally, too! 5-2-3 — that’s a really excellent outcome for a 3-Way Battle.

Enjoy your time away from the blog, and I’ll be back with two cents for your BOTB kitty on the 15th.

  2. Hi, Cathy!

The luck of the Irish was with me and others who voted for Irish Christmas in your battle. Thanks for letting us know that all three styles you presented in your special contest got their share of votes. That’s a great outcome for a BOTB host. I also enjoyed listening to the follow-up set of songs by the winning group.

We’re leaving soon for the airport. As I told you in email, we will have a visitor coming in from San Diego today for a stay of more than a month, I will need to care for him, but hope to show up for you here at CAAC for all of your scheduled posts. Keep in mind that I might be very late for Monday’s post depending on the outcome of my COVID test tomorrow.

Enjoy the r4st of your week, dear friend Cathy!
