Let’s get physical, physical. True, I stay in this mode all the time. My philosophy is you have one body – make the most of it!
Do you remember this funny contraption from the 50s & 60s?
Totally sexy picture, but I image this contraption in all practical terms did very little to melt away those unwanted pounds. Although I’ve read you can burn 100-200 calories when you have sex. This photo may prompt some to get in the mood for love, what do you think? lol
What in heaven’s name is this?
This device, believe it or not, is designed to simulate ab-crunching by making your body naturally contract with this tummy sucking apparatus. Granted exercising can be painful, but really…this? Just get a look at the way this well-dressed guy. Did they really dress like this when they did their daily fitness routines? It’s really almost comical, isn’t it?

I am now a follower! This post is so on point, my blog is about fitness and health and quitting the gym!

Last year a “fitness” business opened up in my town with those crazy jiggle machines (a little more high tech than the own you show – but not too different). They were only in business a few months. Shocking eh! LOL
My grandmother had one of those machines. I always thought they’d be good for making milk shakes. Thanks for linking up. Have a Wendell Day!
I had to laugh at the first machine image. Funny! Your Maniac video made me dizzy just watching…I could never do that.
I remember those! Do you remember Rosalind Russell using one in the movie The Women? Hilarious!
Love that ab machine, lust look at how big the thing is – where would you store that!
Following you back Cathy. Love your blog. Glad we found each other. Happy Hump Day 🙂

I had to laugh at the gentleman wearing a suit while using an exercise (or shall I say torture?) machine! LOL!!
I LOVE that fat shaking machine-honestly, I want one just for the kicks and giggles of it! LOL
And I totally have to agree with you on the second picture; it looks painful o.O
Thanks Cathy for joining me down memory lane again this week. My post is up:)
