Welcome to Monday’s Music Moves Me on Sundays! This week’s theme is whatever music moves you!
I came across Reid Jamieson in 2018 while searching for covers in a BOTB post and was reminded of him again recently while making post repairs. On his YT channel the first song that began playing (#1 on the set below) when I landed there got my attention. I liked it enough to borrow his entire playlist. Kindly click play to listen to Reid Jamieson’s Me Daza album!
Music themes are only suggestions. I don’t care one what kind of music it is, as long as you share music. Now, it’s your turn!

I have one birthday to announce, Deidre from at Landmark Sounds turned another year older on the 8th.

This is a holiday weekend in the US. Tomorrow is Decoration Day or better known as Memorial Day, a day set aside to honor our fallen heroes while in service to our country. I’m thankful none of my loved ones paid the ultimate price but there were many who did. My heart is heavy for those who bear the burden of such loss and I am grateful for all that was given!
I apologize for this not posting on time. I had the schedule wrong and am just now catching it.
As I so often have done over the past several years this one won’t be any different. I may step away from blogging partially for the summer. I haven’t completely decided what I’ll do but rest assured I’m okay if I’m not quick to respond or make a visit.

I enjoyed the music posted here. I forgot to post last week and liked that song too. I hope you still do the music Monday but enjoy your summer.
Not to worry I’ll be running the 4M each week like clock work, unless scheduling gets missed like it did this time.
Thanks for the intro to Reid Jamieson. I enjoyed him. And we do need to say prayer for all those who gave their lives for this country.
Thank you for the introduction to Reid Jamieson.
Thank you for remembering those who gave the last full measure of devotion. Like you, none in my family have died on the battlefield, even though 4 generations have served. I cannot imagine the pain of sending a child to war and never seeing them alive again.
That would just be horrible to deal with the loss of a child. I just can’t imagine nor do I want to.
Reid Jamieson has a pleasant voice . Thanks for the introduction, Cathy!
And a very Happy Birthday to Diedre!
Hope you’re having a pleasant long weekend too. I’m joining you this week with some concert memories.
I always enjoy your blog, the music, the things you share. I wish many happy returns of the day to Deidre and a blessed Memorial Day to you and your family.
Happy Birthday to Deidre!
Never heard of him but that’s nice and easy to listen to. We will remember all those heroes tomorrow too, and every day.
I’ve not heard either song.
Hi, I am so glad to be in touch again after so long! That you so much for your kind comment on my blog. I don’t participate in blog hops, challenges, etc., and I do my blog posts twice a week now, on Mondays and Thursdays as compared to at my old blog, where I was posting every day.
I like music from before my time. Not necessarily classical, but big band swing type. Early 1900’s to 1940’s. I also love easy listening and some instrumental like Paul Mauriat, just to give an example. I also like oldies and disco. I am a 68 year old baby boomer so you can see my music tastes are wide. Thank you so much for sharing.
Here lately, I’ve blogged more than usual. Like you I use to blog daily but that’s changed over the years. As much as I love being in Blogosphere, it takes a lot of time to maintain a constant presence and there’s other things in life worthy of my attention. I’m trying to find a balance for all things at this point. You’re four years older than me. I enjoy a lot of music variety. The oldies (60s-80s) is probably my favorite era, but I do enjoy discovering new musical talent. Feel free to stop by anytime for a visit. My front door is always open to friends!
Definitely nice easy listening background music. I join you in thinking about those who gave all, so that we as a people and nation might be free. Alana ramblinwitham
