Good-morning Kittens and Dawgs, since our last chat session the calendar flipped again on us with the ushering in the Thanksgiving season. WOW, it’s November! Unlike Maxine, we don’t worry so much about leaves or snow shoveling. We had a lot of troublesome trees removed years ago and we don’t get much in the way of white fluff in the winters.
Did you see the article the CBS News article of a pianist playing to sick, blind elephant? No. That’s what you’re seeing in the below clip and I found it incredibly adorable to see how the old elephant responded to the piano mewsic. I think Ampan is dancing to the melodious sound.
Seriously, criminals crack me up! It absolutely blows my mind to read about a junkee reporting a crime like in this article Indiana Man Contact Police With Complaint About Crack Dealer.
If you think that’s funny, wait till you read the below older mews snippet…
I have an unexpected routine change so I won’t be in Blogosphere again today and I apologize to y’all but I will get around to linking up taking that coffee break with Random Tuesday Thoughts hosted Stacy Uncorked and Tuesday Chatter on BrewNSpew hosted by Eugenia. Please join me for not-so Wordless Wednesday.

We have leaves, leaves and more leaves. The ground appears to be blanketed in gold. What a dummy the burglar is but aren’t they all !? Thanks for the mention, btw! 😀
Eugenia,
The life of a criminal is a stupid move period. There’s no such thing as shortcuts without something awful ready to happen not far off.
😵
These are great. I love Grumpy cat.
Criminals are often stupid. Or maybe it’s that the ones we find out about were being stupid. Another crime story from Indiana happened shortly after I moved there: A couple “accidentally” blew up their large house for the insurance. It was just supposed to be a fire, apparently. Two of their neighbors died in the explosion, and a lot of neighboring houses were damaged, so they did NOT get away with anything.
Morons.
“Keep rolling your eyes – maybe you’ll find your brains back there.”
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
All-time Grand Champeen Super Snark!!!! 🙂
Maybe… but I doubt it!! LOL
This elephant is better looking and way smarter than that cro-magnum idiot who was breaking into his mom’s home. the poor mother who now knows how stupid her son truly is. I would much rather keep listening to the man play on the piano to this wonderful elephant.
That guy is not a professional burglar, is he? Wonder what he actually does for a living?
Those were good and brains are always a good find!
If i had leaves and snow, i think i would leave the leaves as a barrier to protect the grass in winter.
Criminal activity boggles my mind anyway, when they go about it in such a stupid way, i can almost feel sorry for them. Almost.
Playing music for the elephants looks to be a very, very rewarding activity.
We don’t have much in the way of leaves either and snow is very rare. I think it snowed in 1976 or so and it didn’t stick.
Love the elephant. That was most lovely.
I’m checking for my brains right now.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Love you. ♥
Sandee,
Wow it’s been long time since y’all had snow. I bet that was a huge, brief treat for y’all. I always get tickled when Floridans visit the Smoky’s in the winter. The snow makes them crazy giddy. It’s actually cute. We take it for granted but for those seeing it for the first time it’s like Christmas Day. 🤗
Hi,Cathy!
Down here in Florida, land of palm trees, we don’t need to rake many fallen leaves off the ground. It was very touching to watch the sick, blind old pachyderm being soothed and entertained by piano mewsic. What a beautiful rapport between man and beast! I always make sure I can pay in full whenever I order crack from my dealer. 🙂 Looks like that kid who broke into his mama’s house needs to go back to crime school. 🙂
Like you I am dealing with family matters behind the scenes and it is making it harder to “service my accounts” around the blog circuit. Thank you for doing your best to visit me at Shady’s Place.
Have a wonderful day, dear friend Cathy!
Tom,
That piece about the crackhead cracked me up. It’s hard to believe anyone doing such stuff but then again drugs do make a person do things they normally wouldn’t. These individuals loose all judgement so why not the police?
I’m sorry to read you’re dealing with things on your end, too. You’re always on top of your game, though.
Thanks for including me in your morning, dear friend!
