Well here we are with another week biting the dust and it’s DH’s off Friday which means I’m away from Blogosphere but I won’t leave my peeps in the balance wtihout starting your weekend off with a random giggle fest with my latest edition of Friday Sillies!
Being the good friend that I am I thought I’d leave you a bit of expert techy advice.

Heeheehee! Those are fun!
Hope your DH continues to improve.
Thank you, Mimi! DH is noticing small improvements every day. This is really exciting mews, too!
Those are fun. Have a nice weekend!
It’s always nice when you stop by for a visit, Ellen! Have a good one, dearie!!
laughing, these are hilarious!
Mary,
I’m glad to make you giggle. 😀
Love the technology for country folks. Spot on.
Love the video. Some great songs there.
Have a fabulous day and weekend. ♥
Thanks for sharing some laughs with me, Sandee. Country folk technology is a hoot!
For all the goofing off he did, Roy Clark is still a hell of a guitar player. He can do just about anything he sets his mind to.
Goit a big laugh at the cartoon with the timeshare…
John,
Roy Clark is a fine guitarist and a big goof on stage. I totally forgot just how funny he is until I stumbled on this clip. I never paid a lot of attention to guitar players until I became involved with mewsic through blogging.
I remember him and Buck Owens on “Hee Haw” with “Pickin’ and Grinnin’.” That was a good show and I didn’t even grow up in the south (although Illinois is pretty country).
OK, this is perfect–especially the tech ones. I woke up with (another) headache. I already feel it melting away. Can you have a headache when you’re laughing?
Jacqui,
Unfortunately, you can have a headache and laugh. I find that laughing often times makes mine worse. Stupid headaches!!
Great funnies!! I love the Technology for Country Folk. Happy Friday and have a fantabulous weekend!
Eugenia,
It’s been a crazy day. Being away from Blogosphere on the weekends take its toll come Monday and then I always have much to do at the start of the week, too. I’m beginning to think very seriously about taking a blog break or at the very least scale back dramatically during the summer. I find I’m more motivated to get things done around here when it’s warmer than when it’s cold.
I understand how you feel. We have a life other than blogging. Plus, it’s obvious you put a lot of time into your blog. I wouldn’t be able to write a post every day. Perhaps, scaling back would help.
Hi, Cathy!
I smiled and giggled all the way through your Sillies, dear friend. I tried gripping my mug of coffee as Royalty would do and dumped it in my lap. 🙂 The old woman who lived in a shoe reminds me of a famous York County, PA, businessman who also lived in a shoe. The Haines Shoe House is an area landmark that I passed many times over the years:

Technology for Country Folk is hilarious, and it is close to the truth where my big brother is concerned. Now approaching age 80, he continues to resist technology and flat out refuses to learn computer skills and open up his life with the internet. For years I watched Hee Haw, the country music TV series co-hosted by Roy Clark and Buck Owens. It was fun to watch and listen as Roy performed a medley of songs on the 1966 show Swingin’ Country hosted by Rusty Draper.
I am very happy know know that DH is experiencing improved vision. Remind him of the song “I Can See Clearly Now.” 🙂 I wish you guys a wonderful weekend and hope you have a great Mother’s Day, dear friend Cathy!
Tom,
Oh, how cool to read the bit one Haines Shoe House! It seems I remember reading about a house shaped like a shoe when I was a kid but I have no clue now where it was or anything. It’s difficult to get those of certain years into the technology groove. I fondly remember Roy Clark and Buck Owens from the Hee Haw show. We watched that program every weekend. It was great wholesome fun! DH is seeing clearly but things are blurry. That will remedy itself with proper eyewear in the coming weeks. He’s really happy so far with the changes. Thank you for the Mother’s Day wishes. I had a lovely one, my friend!
