After the birth of my first DD, I began doing typical Mommy-things like arts & crafts. In the late 90s rubber stamping was introduced to me through a pen pal. I hated shopping for greeting cards period. I loved the idea of hand-crafting my own. Rubber art stamping provided me the means to do just that.
I decided to contact The Stampin’ Place to see if they were open to me doing a review of their products. The answer was, “Yes!” I was giddy. Normally, I buy unmounted rubber art stamps. I was more than delighted when they sent me this…

The look and feel of the mounted wood rubber art stamps are lovely in the hand. There is something special about holding one of these finished stamps. It’s kinda like The Stampin’ Place feels the same as I do every time I make a home-made card – enjoyment and pride in my finished art project. That’s the sense I get from their wood mounted rubber stamps.
I consider myself an amateur in the art of rubber stamping – no classes, self-taught. I’m definitely an enthusiast of this medium and it’s safe to say, I’m hooked on this hobby! I found with The Stampin’ Place images stamp clean and beautifully. The handy card sheet layout included with the stamp set made is a little bonus and made my job easy-peasy in figuring out which of my on-hand supplies can be incorporated into making my own unique version. The cool thing about crafting your own greeting cards is no two cards are ever alike. Here’s how mine turned out…
What’s really cool and perhaps one the biggest reason I’m a repeat shopper is you’ll find all rubber art stamp sets – mounted and unmounted are always discounted 25% – just browse, shop, and save here. I bought a ton of new unmounted stamp sets recently and just love, love them all!
This is the fun part I like to share…I have some good news. I’m giving away A Little Bird Told Me rubber art stamp set to one of my lucky readers, compliments of The Stampin’ Place. If you would like an opportunity to win this set for yourself, then join the fun below….

Violets & Friends set is cute 🙂
I like the custom style stamps so I can make up one. I’d probably make up one for my husband’s band first and then one for me. I like fairies, but there’s other things too. Yep the custom made ones would be cool.
The Stampin’ Place has a cute little Fairy stamp set that I bought a few years ago. I bet you would like this set. You can have so much fun making your own cards to suit anyone in your life. 🙂
Oh, your card is just beautiful!! Anyone receiving one of these lovely creations would most certainly feel so special! I love this idea — and I already have a ton of blank cards that I just have no idea what to do with!! 🙂
Aah, thanks! =D If you have tons of blank cards then you need a pretty little rubber art stamp to use. Am I right?
My 6-year old loves using rubber stamps to make homemade cards, but a quality set like this would be great for projects we could do together.
I checked out their website and love their various animal stamps – my favorite is the Panda.
Rubber art stamping is a good project to do with your kiddos. All three of ours enjoyed it. With only our DS at home, whenever he needs a card he knows he can always use Mom’s stamps. You & your daughter will enjoy doing this together.
