Meet Me On Monday – One food for life to Coffee or Tea

headline-news-happy-monday

What a glorious weekend!  How are you this fine Monday?  I know what you’re thinking, you’re wondering if I fell and hit my head, right?  I assure you I’m quite well.  Yesterday’s knocking around in beautiful spring weather was enough to carry me through to this morning.   Today is showing promise of gorgeous conditions. A storm is on the loom this evening, but I don’t care coz I’m loving the spring beauty!
Let’s have some fun, okay?  I want to invite you to hook up with Java below.

1. If you had to eat only one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? One food?  This is an impossible pick for me.  My head is exploring all the possibilities.  I mean, one food to sustain me throughout each day for the rest of my life. The Bible tells us that Moses lived on locusts and honey for 40 years.  While I don’t think I could eat an insect, I certainly would be totally satisfied with a diet of lean meat, preferably chicken.

2. Do you write your blog posts in advance or the day you post them? Planning a blog post is about as rare as a Blue Moon.  I usually wake up each morning and blog about whatever comes off the top of my head.  Yeah, I know that’s not the best idea but that’s what I do.  Maybe, just maybe one day I will get into a better groove of things.

3. Have you ever ridden in an ambulance?  Nope, never have and I’m glad.  Gosh, it’s expensive to take a ride in an ambulance.  DD#2 had to take a short ambulance ride from work a few years back and the cost was ridiculously high.  Our insurance would not cover it because the ambulance service didn’t contract with BCBS or something to that nature.  Crazy, huh?

4. What is your favorite candle scent?  I love just about any fragrance.  Right now, I have a peach candle in my kitchen and it’s so nice to catch a whiff of it.

5. Coffee or tea?  I’m absolutely a coffee drinker every single day, but I do drink tea, too.  I enjoy having tea when my mood dictates to have a cup.

Wanna make my day? Then leave me a comment!
Love, Cathy =D

  1. I was horrible in March and wrote all my posts the first weekend in March. (Well, almost all of them.) It gave me more time to focus on last minute things with the query process. I’ll go back to writing the posts the day before now that I’m in the querying process again. It’s a little more dependent on daily facts.

  2. Yes…Spring is worth all of the stormy weather…when we look at the blooms and the blossoms that “spring” forth! (:>) The wind is blowing like crazy here in Kansas today. And I am so allergic that I choose to stay inside…especially because the pollen counts are high!

Thanks for the sweet comment on my new hairdo Cathy. It has been fun so far. I haven’t been liking my hair for awhile…so I was glad to have a change.

    Have a blessed week ahead.

  4. I’m not feeling all that chipper this Monday. That’s cuz yesterday and today are cold, foggy and dismal. However, I really don’t mind this kind of weather..it’s fireplace time…books, movies, writing, etc. It’s all good. But it doesn’t have the capacity to carry me through to the next day on the wings of a dove, if you know what I mean…
